Gert Anders Glenmark (born 20 November 1953) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is the brother of singer Karin Glenmark and nephew of band leader Bruno Glenmark.[ citation needed ]

Career

Among the artists for whom Glenmark has written and produced are Eva Dahlgren, Orup, Ted Gärdestad, and Patrik Isaksson. He has also, early on in his career, been a backing singer on solo albums by members of ABBA, such as Anni-Frid Lyngstad's Frida Ensam and Agnetha Fältskog's Elva Kvinnor I Ett Hus , both released in 1975.[ citation needed ]

In 1976, Glenmark played lead guitar in Abba's hit single "Money, Money, Money".

In 1984, Glenmark sang, multi-tracked, all the voices on the chorus of Murray Head's hit single "One Night in Bangkok" (US No. 3, UK #12), from the Benny Andersson/Tim Rice/Björn Ulvaeus musical Chess . [1]

In 1996, Glenmark produced and co-wrote Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad's Swedish solo album Djupa Andetag . He has also collaborated with a number of Danish artists such as Lis Sørensen and Søs Fenger.[ citation needed ]

Glenmark has been a member of several groups, including the family group Glenmarks and the siblings duo Gemini. Since 1994, he has been a member of the sporadically existing group Glenmark Eriksson Strömstedt (GES) together with Orup and Niklas Strömstedt.[ citation needed ]

Glenmark has participated in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish heats of the Eurovision Song Contest, seven times:[ citation needed ]

Karin Margareta Glenmark is a Swedish pop and rock singer. She is the niece to Bruno Glenmark and sister to Anders Glenmark. Together with Anders, she is a part of the siblings duo Gemini, and together with uncle Bruno and his wife Ann-Louise Hanson, they formed the group Glenmarks.

Ingela Birgitta "Pling" Forsman is a Swedish lyricist in popular music. As a student Forsman attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. 1981–2009, 33 of her songs have competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen, three of them winners: Bra vibrationer (1985), Se på mej (1995) and Kärleken är (1998). She has also written the text to psalm number 862 in the Swedish hymn book, Blomningstid, and two children's books.

La Dolce Vita – Det Bästa 1982–2003 is the second compilation album by Swedish pop music artist Mauro Scocco. Unlike the previous greatest hits compilation, Hits, this double CD spanned Scocco's entire career, including his early career as a member of the pop group Ratata. The selections were picked by Scocco himself. It also included a version of the Scocco-penned Lisa Nilsson hit "Himlen runt hörnet", featuring Scocco himself, Nilsson, and Swedish blues artist Driftwood. There were also various unreleased demos included on the album. It was released in 2003 through Scocco's own record label Diesel Music.

Leif Bloms was a dansband in Växjö in Sweden. scoring chart successes at the Swedish album chart during the mid-late 1970s. On 31 December 1995 the band was disbanded after singing and playing together for almost 40 years. Starting with the 1981 album Håll dig kvar, the band's singer was Mona Gustafsson, who wrote the band's 1992 song "Dej ska jag älska all min tid" which won the 1992 Hänt song contest in Älvsjö.
