Lars Anders Johansson (born July 4, 1973) [1] is a Swedish artist manager, A&R representative known as manager for A-Teens, Carola, Sahara Hotnights, Smith & Thell, Veronica Maggio and others. [2] [3] [4]

Biography

Anders Johansson grew up initially in Alnö, Sundsvall, but moved early to Stockholm. Following studies in England and United States, he joined Stockholm Records as an intern and later A&R manager, with Ola Håkansson as one of his mentors. [2] [5] Here, he signed LOK in 1997 and recruited the members of A-Teens, founded in 1998. [2] In 2001, he became A&R manager at Universal following their acquisition of Stockholm Records. [2] [5]

Thereafter, Johansson founded his own artist management company, Albot & Albot in 2008, and became a manager for Veronica Maggio, Sahara Hotnights and Carola. [2] [6] In parallel, he was engaged by Melodifestivalen to manage A&R from 2012. [7] [8]

In 2016, he partnered with NYC-based Jon Allen under the Buddys name. Their clients have included Veronica Maggio, Smith & Thell, Sandro Cavazza, NOTD, Estraden, and others. [5] [3] [4] [9]

Since 2018, Johansson has been appointed board member of Music Managers Forum Sweden (MMF). [10] [11]

Johansson was awarded MVP at the Denniz Pop Awards 2022. [4]

Allsång på Skansen is a Swedish show held at Skansen, Stockholm, every summer on Tuesdays between 8pm and 9pm. The audience is encouraged to sing along with musical guest stars to well-known Swedish and international songs. The show started in 1935 on a small scale; about 50 people in the audience. Today, about 10,000–25,500 people come to each performance.

"Jag kommer" is a song that was recorded by Swedish singer Veronica Maggio and is included on her third studio album Satan i gatan (2011). Maggio co-wrote the song with Steffan Olsson and the track's producer Christian Walz. On 10 February 2011, it was released to contemporary hit radio stations in Sweden as the album's lead single. The track is a pop rock song about the beginning of a relationship. Some music critics noted a double entendre in the lyrics, though according to Maggio, the song's meaning is open to interpretation. It also attracted accusations of plagiarism of the Strokes' "Reptilia" from the Swedish public, which the singer denied.

Anima Morte is an instrumental progressive rock band formed in Stockholm, Sweden 2004 by Fredrik Klingwall.
