Anders Steen (born April 28, 1955) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 42 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Winnipeg Jets. [1] He is currently a scout for the Calgary Flames.

The Swedish Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season.
Alexander Lennart Steen is a Canadian-born Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Steen was drafted 24th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, and started his NHL career with Toronto. Steen was traded to the St. Louis Blues in 2008, where he played the remainder of his career. Steen won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019.

In his time in the NHL, he spent the entirety of his career with the original Winnipeg Jets.

Västerås IK is a professional ice hockey club from Västerås, Sweden. The team is currently playing in the second-tier league in Sweden, Hockeyallsvenskan. Västerås IK played 12 seasons in the top Swedish league Elitserien before the club went bankrupt and merged with the junior club, which changed name to VIK Västerås HK in 2005. In 2018, after playing a year in tier three, Hockeyettan, the club changed it name back to the old name Västerås IK.

In English, the title could be translated as The archipelago doctor, and it came to be one of the most popular Swedish TV series of the 1990s. With an average viewership of approximately 2.5 million it is considered one of the greatest successes of SVT Drama. Anders "Ankan" Parmström is a Swedish former ice hockey player and coach, who currently serves as an ice hockey expert analyst on the Canal Plus television network in Sweden.
Anders Gozzi is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player and currently the general manager of the AIK IF organization. In his career as a professional ice hockey player he played for AIK, Brynäs IF, and Düsseldorfer EG. In his first season with AIK, in the 1986–87 season, the team became promoted to Elitserien. He played in AIK during the majority of his career, and scored 315 points in 579 Elitserien (SEL) games. He became Elitserien champions with Brynäs IF in the 1992–93 season. He ended his ice hockey player career with AIK in the 2003–04 season, when the team played in HockeyAllsvenskan. He also was the general manager of AIK that season, and in the 2004–05 season he also became an assistant coach, replacing Tomas Winje mid-season. In the 2007–08 season he was the head coach of AIK from early December 2007 until the end of the season. Since the end of the 2007–08 season, he has been the general manager of AIK.

Five of the matches were played in the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland, and one match in the Fjällräven Center in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The tournament was won by Russia, who won all their three games. The tournament was part of 2011–12 Euro Hockey Tour.
The 2012 Oddset Hockey Games was played between 9–12 February 2012. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches were played in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, and one match in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland. Sweden won the tournament for the second year in a row, after defeating Finland 3–1 on the last game day. The tournament was part of 2011–12 Euro Hockey Tour.

The 2012–13 Elitserien season was the last season under the name "Elitserien"; on 17 June 2013, the league was renamed "Swedish Hockey League" (SHL).
