Andre Tricoteux is a Canadian actor and stuntman, known for playing Colossus in Deadpool and Orc War Captain in Warcraft . He has done stunt work on many TV and movies such as Once Upon a Time , Seventh Son , and See No Evil 2 .
In the 2016 Marvel film Deadpool , he portrayed the Colossus character in a restricted on-set motion capture performance and stunt work, a role he shared with fellow stuntman T. J. Storm. Serbian actor Stefan Kapičić, who was cast at the last moment, provided the character's voice, and the film's motion capture supervisor Greg LaSalle provided the final facial performance. [1] Tricoteux's performance in the film has been blended by CGI with that of four other actors: the three aforementioned and stuntman Glenn Ennis for initial facial shapes. [2]

Colossus is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum, he first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1.
A stunt performer, often called a stuntman or stuntwoman and occasionally stuntperson or stunt-person, is a trained professional who performs daring acts, often as a career. Stunt performers usually appear in films or on television, as opposed to a daredevil, who performs for a live audience. When they take the place of another actor, they are known as stunt doubles.
Motion capture is the process of recording the movement of objects or people. It is used in military, entertainment, sports, medical applications, and for validation of computer vision and robots. In filmmaking and video game development, it refers to recording actions of human actors and using that information to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation. When it includes face and fingers or captures subtle expressions, it is often referred to as performance capture. In many fields, motion capture is sometimes called motion tracking, but in filmmaking and games, motion tracking usually refers more to match moving.
