Australasia was the name of a combined team from Australia and New Zealand that competed at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom. It was the fourth appearance of Australia, which had not missed any edition of the Summer Olympic Games, and the first appearance of New Zealand. The two would compete together again as Australasia at the 1912 Summer Olympics before competing separately at every edition of the Summer Games since. In 1908 there were three New Zealanders, Harry Kerr, Henry Murray and Albert Rowland ; all other competitors were Australian. There were 30 competitors for Australasia who competed in 20 events in six sports. A further two competitors, who were to compete in tennis, did not play as their nominations failed to reach the organisers.
Troy David Chaplin is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He has served as the offensive coordinator at the Melbourne Football Club since October 2016.

Hradecká also reached the top 45 in singles and was a finalist in seven tour-level singles tournaments. She announced her retirement from the sport at the end of the 2022 season.

Andrea Borella is an Italian fencer. His team won a gold medal in the team foil event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He won a bronze medal in the individual foil event at the 1991 Mediterranean Games. Borella won European Championships in 1981 and 1983, as well as three World Cups. He is married to Francesca Bortolozzi, who was also an Olympic fencing champion for Italy.

Clifford Barton "Tippi" Gray was an American bobsledder, songwriter and actor, who competed in the late 1920s and 1930s. He won two medals at the Winter Olympics, a gold in the four-man event at Lake Placid, New York, in 1932 and a gold in the five-man event at St. Moritz, Switzerland, in 1928, as well as a bronze in the four-man event at the 1937 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz.

Alexandrea Anacan is a Philippine-born New Zealand karate athlete. A resident of Auckland, Anacan represents New Zealand internationally. She is a four-time consecutive gold medalist in the World Karate Federation Oceanian Karate Federation (OKF), entering competition in 2016. Her achievements include finishing 2nd at the Commonwealth Karate Championships, 5th at the Karate World Games and 3rd place at the World University Games, the largest international multi-sport event other than the Olympics.
