Andrea Di Paola (born 1970) is an Italian astronomer and a discoverer of minor planets.

He works at the Rome Observatory and has been significantly involved in the CINEOS project. [2] He is credited by the Minor Planet Center with the co-discovery of 11 numbered minor planets during 1996–1997, all made in collaboration with Italian astronomer Andrea Boattini. [1]

The main-belt asteroid 27130 Dipaola, discovered by Andrea Boattini and Maura Tombelli in 1998, is named in his honour. [2] Naming citation was published on 6 August 2003 ( M.P.C. 49282). [3]

Hans Scholl is a German astronomer, who worked at the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut in Heidelberg, Germany, and at the Côte d'Azur Observatory in Nice, France. In 1999, he was part of a team that discovered three moons of Uranus: Prospero, Setebos and Stephano. He has also co-discoverered 55 minor planets together with Italian astronomer Andrea Boattini at ESO's La Silla Observatory site in northern Chile during 2003–2005.

The Junk Bond Observatory is located in the Sonoran Desert at Sierra Vista, Arizona, United States.

16879 Campai, provisional designation 1998 BH10, is a stony Witt asteroid and slow rotator from the central region of the asteroid belt, approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) in diameter. The S-type asteroid was discovered on 24 January 1998, by Italian astronomers Andrea Boattini and Maura Tombelli at the Pistoia Mountains Astronomical Observatory in San Marcello Pistoiese, Tuscany, central Italy. It was named for Italian amateur astronomer Paolo Campai.

Sebastian Florian Hönig is a German astronomer, discoverer of minor planets and comets, and Professorial Fellow in the astronomy group of the University of Southampton School of Physics & Astronomy from Eislingen/Fils, Germany.

According to the Minor Planet Center, he has discovered numerous asteroids during 1994–2000, all of them in collaboration with other astronomers (see table legend). In recognition of his achievements, the main-belt asteroid 11667 Testa, discovered by Luciano Tesi and Andrea Boattini at San Marcello Pistoiese Observatory in 1997, was named after him.
