He began working in the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 1970, was made an archbishop in 1987, and served as a nuncio in several countries between 1987 to 2007. He led the Vatican's training program for its diplomats, the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy, from 2007 to 2013.

The Istituto Adriano Olivetti di studi per la gestione dell'economia e delle aziende, known as ISTAO is a business school in Ancona, established in 1967 by the Italian economist Giorgio Fuà. ISTAO organizes post-graduate and executive courses as well as it gives its contribution in the field of Economy and Finance. ISTAO is named upon the name of Adriano Olivetti, the well-known entrepreneur who created and managed the Olivetti company and worked with Fuà during the '40s. ISTAO has been established in 1967 within the new Faculty of Economics of Ancona whereas a group of people, led by Giorgio Fuà, started to gain interest in finding new methodologies and techniques in teaching and research fields. According to this proposition, ISTAO developed during the years a methodology that makes it completely different from the Italian academic system and nowadays the business school is characterized by its tight link with the regional economic network and by the managerial style of its teaching.

Pizza di Pasqua

The pizza di Pasqua, in some areas also called crescia di Pasqua, torta di Pasqua, torta al formaggio or crescia brusca, is a leavened savory cake typical of many areas of central Italy based on wheat flour, eggs, pecorino and parmesan. Traditionally served at breakfast on Easter morning, or as an appetizer during Easter lunch, it is accompanied by blessed boiled eggs, ciauscolo and red wine or, again, served at the Easter Monday picnic. Having the same shape as panettone, the pizza di Pasqua with cheese is a typical product of the Marche region, but also Umbrian. There is also a sweet variant. The peculiarity of this product is its shape, given by the particular mold in which it is leavened and then baked in the oven: originally in earthenware, today in aluminum, it has a flared shape.

Amico Ricci Italian art historian

Amico Ricci Petrocchini, Petruccini or Petruchini (1794-1862) was an Italian art historian and marquess. He is most notable for his 1834 Memorie storiche delle arti e degli artisti della Marca di Ancona, the first systematic survey of art history in the Marche. He also composed a number of cantatas for viola (1862).
