Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor and multi-instrumentalist. He was born visually impaired, with congenital glaucoma, and at the age of 12, Bocelli became completely blind, following a brain hemorrhage resulting from a football accident. After performing evenings in piano bars and competing in local singing contests, Bocelli signed his first recording contract with the Sugar Music label. The Canadian Amateur Hockey League (CAHL) was an early men's amateur hockey league founded in 1898, replacing the organization that was formerly the Amateur Hockey Association of Canada (AHAC) before the 1898–99 season. The league existed for seven seasons, folding in 1905 and was itself replaced by the Eastern Canada Amateur Hockey Association (ECAHA). Formed because of a dispute between teams of the AHAC, it further developed the sport in its transition to professional, with a growing focus on revenues. The CAHL itself would fold over a dispute, leading to the new ECAHA league.

Russell George Alexander "Russ, Dubbie" Bowie was a Canadian ice hockey player. He was an assistant coach, scout and hockey executive for the Toronto franchise.
James "Rocket" Power was a Canadian ice hockey player who was active from 1900 to 1913. Rocket played on the 1904 Quebec Bulldogs CAHL championship team. That year, Quebec did not challenge for the Stanley Cup. He also played one regular season game for Quebec Bulldogs 1913 Stanley Cup champion team.
Cecil William Blachford was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward player who played for the Montreal Hockey Club and the Montreal Wanderers. He was a member of Stanley Cup-winning teams in 1903, 1906, 1907, 1908 and 1910, and captain of the 1906 to 1908 teams.
The 1902–03 Ottawa Hockey Club season was the club's 18th season of play. The club would win the CAHL championship in a playoff with the Montreal Victorias to win the Club's first Stanley Cup. For their win, the players would each be given a silver nugget. From that day forward, the club was nicknamed the Silver Seven.
The Quebec Castors or Quebec Beavers were a professional ice hockey team based in Quebec City, Quebec from 1926 until 1935. They were members of the Canadian–American Hockey League (CAHL).
James E. Dooley (1886–1960) was a leading sports figure in Rhode Island. He became part owner of the Providence Steam Roller of the National Football League from 1916 until 1933 when the team folded. The 1928 team won the NFL Championship with an 8-1-2 record. He has a decades-long association with the Narragansett Park race track in Pawtucket. Dooley was also a founder of the Providence Reds of the Canadian-American Hockey League (CAHL) and was also the one-time President of the CAHL.
The Boston Tigers were a professional ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts from 1926 until 1936, playing in the Canadian–American Hockey League (CAHL).
The Central Alberta Hockey League (CAHL) is a defunct senior amateur hockey league that operated in Alberta, Canada from 1956 to 1966.
