Andrejs Maticins (born January 30, 1963) is retired Latvian professional ice hockey player and coach, currently he is assistant coach for Severstal Cherepovets of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). [1]
Maticins began his career in Dinamo Riga, he was a part of Dinamo Soviet Championship silver medal run in 1987-88 season. Later in his career, he played outside Latvia, mainly in Sweden.
During his career Maticins was regular for Latvian national team helping team Latvia in the promotion to World Championships elite division and playing in four world championships. He also represented Latvia in 2002 Winter Olympics. [2] which was his last tournament with team Latvia.
After finishing playing in 2006 Maticins began coaching. He coached Latvian national U20 team in 2009 Championships [3] to 8th-place finish.
In 2013-14 season Maticins accepted job as assistant coach of Severstal Cherepovets.

Artūrs Irbe is a Latvian professional ice hockey coach and former goaltender. Born during the Soviet era, Irbe played for various Soviet league teams and the Soviet Union national team before moving to North America in 1991. Irbe played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the San Jose Sharks, Dallas Stars, Vancouver Canucks, and Carolina Hurricanes. In 2004 Irbe returned to Europe to play until he retired in 2007. He has served as a goaltending coach with Dinamo Riga, the Washington Capitals and the Buffalo Sabres, as well as internationally with the Latvia men's national ice hockey team. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2010.
Ģirts Ankipāns is a retired Latvian ice hockey player and coach. Currently he serves as the head coach of Dinamo Riga in KHL.
Konstantin Yevgeniyevich Koltsov is a Belarusian former professional ice hockey player who last played for HC Dinamo Minsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He played parts of three seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League between 2002 and 2006. Internationally Koltsov played for the Belarusian national team at the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics and at nine World Championships.
Dmitri Sergeyevich Yushkevich is a Russian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He spent 11 seasons in the National Hockey League with several teams, but most notably for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Edgars Masaļskis is a Latvian ice hockey coach and former player. Playing as a goaltender, Masaļskis represented the Latvian national team, and has played for a number of clubs, with five seasons in Liepājas Metalurgs as his longest stay at any club. He retired after the 2016–17 season, and joined Dinamo Riga's coaching staff on 2 October 2017.

Viktor Vasilievich Tikhonov is a Russian former professional ice hockey forward. Tikhonov was originally selected 28th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, by the Phoenix Coyotes. After several years in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Coyotes, Tikhonov moved to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in Russia, where he spent four years with SKA St. Petersburg. In 2015, he returned to the NHL, signing a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks, appearing in 11 games for them before he was claimed on waivers by the Coyotes.
Oleg Valerievich Znarok is a Soviet-Latvian professional ice hockey player. In 2022, he was the head coach of Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and consultant of the Russia men's national ice hockey team.
David Jakob Ullström is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player. He last played with Schwenninger Wild Wings in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was selected by the New York Islanders in the 4th round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Zemgus Girgensons is a Latvian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed "the Latvian Locomotive", he was selected 14th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Sabres. With this selection, Girgensons became the highest-drafted Latvian in NHL history, 16 spots higher than previous highest selection, Sandis Ozoliņš, in 1991. In the previous year, Girgensons was selected in the second round, 28th overall, in the 2011 KHL Junior Draft by CSKA Moscow. Girgensons was voted to the NHL All-Star Game in 2015.
