Andreu Jacob (born 18 September 1971 as Andreu Jacob Martinez Foglietti) is a Catalan composer. He works in such musical genres as classical and contemporary music, jazz, flamenco and other musical styles.
Jacob was born on 18 September 1971 in Barcelona, Spain. He was brought up in a poor family that lived in the El Raval neighborhood. Jacob showed a great interest in music at the age of 9. He began his musical studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceo in Barcelona. A year later he made his first musical performance at theConservatorio Superior de Música del Liceo . At the age 14 he started to work with the Catalan guitarist Max Sunyer.
Andreu took the 1st place in the 75th Composer's Festival Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. He studied carpentry in Barcelona and architectural acoustics in France. In 1990 he published his first work. [1] At the age of 23 he participated in an international jazz festival in Kraków, Poland and also in Zamość.
In 1995 at age 24, Andreu got his first sponsorship from the international company Paiste, agreement expiring in 2007 after accepting the proposal to work with his new sponsor Zildjian. [2] He has participated in international jazz festivals. [3] and performed in numerous concerts in many countries and cities [4] [5] – (New York City, Berlin, Porto, Lisbon, Norway, Sweden, London, Barcelona, Madrid etc.)
Jacob has written music in projects for Thomas Dodd, Peter Gric, Gottfried Helnwein,. [6]
In 2012 he moved to Sweden to continue his work. A year later Andreu Jacob moved to Norway where he lives up to now.
He was a member of the jury at the International Peterhof Film Festival 2021 (Saint Petersburg), TNISSFF 2019/2020 (Norway), 7th edition Curta Neblina [7] 2020 (Brazil)
He was the sound designer of the film Seyran Ates – Sex Revolution and Islam. He was longlisted for an Oscar at the 94th Academy Awards 2022, in the category documentary feature.

Rjukan is a town in Tinn Municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The town is also the administrative centre of Tinn Municipality. SF Hydro was a Norwegian steam powered railway ferry that operated in the first half of the 20th century on Lake Tinn in Telemark. It connected with the Rjukan Line and Tinnoset Line, at Mæl and Tinnoset, operating between 1914 and 1944. The combined track and ferry service was primarily used to transport raw materials and fertilizer from Norsk Hydro's factory at Rjukan to the port in Skien. It was the target of a Norwegian operation on 20 February 1944, when resistance fighters sank the ferry in the deepest part of Lake Tinn to prevent Nazi Germany from receiving heavy water.

Taskmaster is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies. In the programme a group of five celebrities – mainly comedians – attempt to complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge and Davies, the titular "Taskmaster", judging the work and awarding points based on contestants' performances. The concept for the programme was first created by Horne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010; he later secured a deal with Dave to adapt it for television with the first episode premiering in 2015. After the ninth series in 2019, the programme was acquired by Channel 4. Jacob Collier is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator. He is also known for his energetic live performances, in which he often conducts the audience to sing harmony or percussion parts. Collier demonstrates his harmonic expertise in lectures and master classes, particularly with his unique Super-Ultra-Hyper-Mega-Meta-Lydian scale and detailed analyses of songs like Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke” and his own music.
