He also pitched six innings for the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers, where he allowed two runs on six hits. [5] On November 30, Vasquez was non-tendered by the Dodgers, making him a free agent. [9]

Toronto Blue Jays

On March 15, 2022, Vasquez signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. [10] He posted an 8.10 ERA in 6.2 innings of relief for the team before he was injured on June 8 with an ankle sprain. Upon his return, he was placed on the Jays' minor league team for rehab.

Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies claimed Andrew Vasquez off of waivers on August 2, 2022. [11] He was designated for assignment on August 15.

San Francisco Giants

On August 17, 2022, Vasquez was claimed off waivers by the San Francisco Giants. He was designated for assignment by the team on August 31, following the promotion of Andrew Knapp. [12] Vasquez cleared waivers and was sent outright to the Triple–A Sacramento River Cats on September 1. [13] In 14 games for Sacramento, he recorded a 5–0 record and 2.20 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 16+1⁄3 innings pitched. On October 3, the Giants selected Vasquez's contract to the major league roster. [14]

Philadelphia Phillies (second stint)

On November 9, 2022, Vasquez was claimed off waivers by the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2023, he made 30 appearances for Philadelphia, registering a 2.27 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 39+2⁄3 innings pitched. Despite the strong results, he was designated for assignment by the Phillies on August 2, 2023. [15]

Detroit Tigers

On August 4, 2023, Vasquez was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers. [16] In 12 appearances for Detroit, he struggled to an 8.31 ERA with 9 strikeouts in 8+2⁄3 innings of work. Following the season on November 6, Vasquez was removed from the 40–man roster and sent outright to the Triple–A Toledo Mud Hens. [17] [18] He elected minor league free agency the next day. [19]

On January 4, 2024, Vasquez re-signed with the Tigers on a minor league contract. [20]
