Andrey Kumantsov (born 4 August 1986) is a former professional tennis player from Russia.
Kumantsov, who won a total of 16 Futures titles, made the main draw of two ATP Tour tournaments, both times as a qualifier. At the 2011 Open 13 in Marseille he was beaten in the first round by Nicolas Mahut, then at the 2012 St. Petersburg Open he retired hurt in his opening round match against Jürgen Zopp, when only one game away from losing, citing dizziness. In 2014 he received a life ban from tennis following an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit. [3] He was found guilty of 12 charges under the tennis anti-corruption code, for a series of incidents between 2010 and 2013, all relating to betting and match fixing. [4] The ban means that Kumantsov is not eligible to participate in or attend any events that are organised or sanctioned by the governing bodies of professional tennis. [5]

Andrey Andreyevich Rublev is a Russian professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 5 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in September 2021. Rublev has won 15 ATP Tour singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters. He has reached the quarterfinals of all four majors, but is the male player of the Open Era to have done so the most times without progressing to the semifinals. Rublev broke into the top 10 of the ATP Tour in October 2020. He made his ATP main draw debut at the 2014 Qatar ExxonMobil Open, losing to the 5th seed Richard Gasquet 5–7, 1–6 in the first round. Hossam was banned from tennis for life and was fined $15,000 on 3 July 2018 for multiple match-fixing offences, after being found guilty on 16 corruption charges relating to offenses from 2013 to 2017 at ITF Futures tournaments. His younger brother Youssef Hossam was likewise banned from tennis for life, two years later, after he similarly was found guilty of 21 match-fixing and other corruption offences.

The Tennis Integrity Unit was the organisation responsible for investigating match fixing in tennis since 2008 until 2020. It was replaced by the International Tennis Integrity Agency. It had the ability to impose fines and sanctions, and ban players, umpires, and other tennis officials from participating in tournaments.

Youssef Hossam is an Egyptian former professional tennis player who was banned from tennis for life, after he was found guilty of 21 match-fixing and other corruption offences. He was banned in a decision made official 4 May, after a hearing held 9-11 March 2020.
The issue of match fixing in tennis is an ongoing problem. First reported on by The Sunday Telegraph in 2003, an organisation called the Tennis Integrity Unit was set up in 2008 following an investigation into the problem. In 2011, Daniel Köllerer became the first player to receive a lifetime ban from the sport due to match fixing. Later that year, the organisers of the Wimbledon tournament were provided a list of people suspected of involvement in the issue. In 2016 the BBC reported on "evidence of widespread suspected match-fixing at the top level of world tennis, including at Wimbledon", and in February 2019 the BBC said that tennis was a "sport riddled with corruption".
The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) is the organisation responsible for safeguarding the integrity of professional tennis worldwide. It is an upgraded version of Tennis Integrity Unit (2008–2020). It was established following a comprehensive review of integrity in the sport.
