Andromeda is a progressive metal band from Sweden formed in 1999. They are currently signed to Massacre Records, Replica Records and Avalon/Marquee. The style emphasizes on strong keyboards and technical drumming. The band is also well known for the smooth vocals of David Fremberg.

Sweden constitutional monarchy in Northern Europe

Sweden, formally the Kingdom of Sweden, is a Scandinavian Nordic country in Northern Europe. It borders Norway to the west and north and Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest by a bridge-tunnel across the Öresund, a strait at the Swedish-Danish border. They have recorded five albums as of 2011, as well as a live DVD. There are two versions of their first album, Extension of the Wish . The original recording features their first vocalist Lawrence Mackrory. The second version has all of the original instrument tracks, but with their replacement vocalist David Fremberg. The most recent album Manifest Tyranny was released in 2011. [1]

Extension of the Wish is the debut album by Andromeda.

Johan Reinholdz Swedish musician

Johan Reinholdz is a progressive metal artist best known for his work with the Swedish progressive metal band Andromeda, Swedish death metal band NonExist and the melodic death metal band Skyfire. He composed Andromeda's debut album, Extension of the Wish. He has also released four more studio albums with Andromeda and one live-album. In 2004 he joined Skyfire and made his debut on tape with them on Esoteric in 2009. Since early 2017 he plays with Dark Tranquillity.

Opus Atlantica is a Swedish power metal band. It is a project of Pete Sandberg a prominent Swedish singer, who has participated in creation of at least 20 full-length albums. Additionally, Jonas Reingold, a notable Swedish bassist who has also been involved with such bands as Time Requiem and The Flower Kings, is also a band member. The band claims influences from heavy metal, opera and traditional hard rock, resulting in its neo-classical sound.
