Anduelo Amoeferie (born 24 September 1991) is a Surinamese professional footballer who plays as a full-back for SVB Eerste Divisie club Inter Moengotapoe and the Suriname national team.
Amoeferie made his international debut for Suriname in a 1–0 friendly victory over Guyana on 30 April 2015. [3]
In June 2021 Amoeferie was named to the Suriname squad for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. [4]
Inter Moengotapoe
The Suriname national football team represents Suriname in international football. The team is controlled by the Surinamese Football Association, which is a member of CONCACAF.
The SVB Eerste Divisie is the second highest football championship for clubs run by the Surinaamse Voetbal Bond. The league currently comprises twelve teams and operates a system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from November to June of the next year, with teams playing 30 games in the regular season. The league was known as the Hoofdklasse but became Topklasse beginning with the 2016–17 season, and then from the 2017–18 season forward, the Eerste Divisie. In 2024 the SVB introduced a new professional competition while the Eerste Divisie will serve as the nations top amateur competition.
The Suriname President's Cup is an association football super cup competition organized by the Surinamese Football Association. The match puts the winners of the SVB Eerste Divisie and the SVB Cup against each other.
Inter Moengotapoe is a Surinamese football club, based in Moengo, Marowijne between Paramaribo and the border town of Albina. They play their home matches at the Ronnie Brunswijkstadion.
The SVB Tweede Divisie is third-highest division overall in the Surinamese football league system after the SVB Eerste Divisie, where the top club is promoted to each season. The weakest club is relegated to the Derde Divisie. The season began on 6 December 2019 and prematurely ended on 13 March 2020 due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, ultimately for the season to be abandon and null by the Surinamese Football Association. At the time of abandonment, Inter Moengotapoe led the league in points, and qualified for the 2021 Caribbean Club Shield.
