Andy Anderson (born February 19, 1954) is an American rower and rowing coach. He is a member of the National Rowing Hall of Fame [1] and writes a column for Rowing News . [2]

He was born in Syracuse, New York. He attended Trinity College of the United States of America. He is the author of the best selling rowing book The Compleat Dr. Rowing. [3] He currently works at Groton School in Groton, MA, where he coaches rowing and teaches Spanish. [2] He has led numerous boats to both New England and National high school rowing championships. In June 2011 his eight went on to win the Henley Women's Regatta, beating St. Paul's of the United States of America. He is married and has three children. Notable relatives include: Rachel Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Briannah Anderson, and Alec Anderson.

David Collins is an American rower and Olympic bronze medalist. He was born in Thousand Oaks, California. A seven-time national rowing champion, Dave won a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympics as a member of the U.S. rowing team. Dave also received a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games and a bronze medal at the 1991 World Rowing Championships. Dave was inducted into the United States National Rowing Hall of Fame and Rutgers University’s Olympic Hall of Fame. He graduated with honors from Rutgers College of Engineering and completed his graduate degree in secondary education at Old Dominion University’s Darden College of Education.

Yasmin Farooq is an American rowing cox and the head coach of the University of Washington women's rowing team. She graduated from Waupun High School in 1984 at Waupun, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin where she joined the rowing team in 1984 as a coxswain. She was a member of the 1986 national champion JV eight and served as captain and MVP of the team her senior year. A two-time Olympian and world champion in rowing, Farooq later became a college coach at Stanford University where she helped the Cardinal win its first ever Pac-12 and NCAA titles in rowing. At the University of Washington, her team swept the NCAA Championship for the first-time in history, then repeated the feat in 2019 setting NCAA records in all three events. She has been named Pac-12 coach of the year six times and national coach of the year three times. She was inducted into the USRowing Hall of Fame in 2014 and awarded the Ernestine Bayer Woman of the Year award by USRowing in 2017. In 2021, Farooq was inducted into the Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame.
