Andys Skordis (born in Nicosia, 24 August 1983) is a Cypriot composer. Skordis was awarded the Buma Toonzetters Prize 2012 for the best Dutch composition for that year, [1] as well as the Berlin Opera Prize 2022. [2]
Andys Skordis studied composition and film scoring at Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2007. He followed his postgraduate studies in composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, studying with Richard Ayres and Wim Henderickx, graduating in 2011. Skordis has also studied Karnatic music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Javanese gamelan with Elsje Plantema and Balinese gamelan at Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar.
He has composed over 80 works ranging from opera, symphonic works, ballet, chamber music, oratorio, music for dance and film scores. He has worked with ensembles such as Vocaallaab, Asko|Schönberg, International Ensemble Modern Academy, Third Coast Percussion group, Residentie Orkest, The Black Page Orchestra, Orkest De Ereprijs, Nieuw Ensemble, Omnibus ensemble, Synchronos, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and Mousique Nouvelles. His music has been played in festivals including Gaudeamus Muziekweek, Holland Festival, November music, Unsafe and Sounds, Bali Arts Festival, ACC Symphony for Asia, CTM festival, Young Composers Meeting, 21st Review of Composers and Yo Opera. Besides composing he is a multi-instrumentalist with Ogmios, and the guitarist in the band Monsieur Doumani, [4] . In addition, he is the founder and artistic director of Patsiaoura ensemble [5] .

Joe Cutler is a British composer who grew up in Neasden and studied music at the Universities of Huddersfield and Durham, before receiving a Polish Government Scholarship to study at the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland. He has taught composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire since 2000, and since 2005 he has been the Head of Composition there. In 2015 he was made Professor of Composition. He is also the co-founder of the instrumental ensemble Noszferatu.

Andrew Toovey is a British composer of contemporary classical music. He is the recipient of composition awards including the Tippett Prize, Terra Nova Prize, the Bernard Shore Viola Composition Award and an RVW Trust Award. Two portrait CDs of his music were released on the Largo label in 1998, and many individual pieces are represented on others CD labels including NMC. His music is partially published by Boosey and Hawkes, and most of his output is available to view on YouTube on his own channel. There is a comprehensive website (www.andrewtoovey.co.uk) where all of Toovey's music can be seen in PDF format with a complete worklist, timeline outlining events of each year and performance list. He has worked extensively on education projects for Glyndebourne Opera, English National Opera, Huddersfield Festival, the South Bank Centre and the London Festival Orchestra, and has been composer-in-residence at Opera Factory and the South Bank Summer School. He is now a full-time composer, but used to teach part-time at Bishop Ramsey School, Ruislip, Middlesex and Alperton Community School in Wembley. He currently teaches composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire part of BCU.
Marios Joannou Elia, is a Cypriot composer and artistic director. He was the youngest director in the history of the European Capital of Culture (2013–15). He is ambassador in tourism of the Republic of Cyprus. Since 2016 he has been the director of the large-scale project "Sound of Vladivostok", on behalf of Zarya Foundation, in Russia; from January 2018, director of "Sound of Kyoto", on behalf of Kyoto City and Kyoto Arts and Culture Foundation after an invitation of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan.

Zou Hang is a Chinese composer born in Hunan province. He studied traditional music at an early age from his father, Professor Zou Shuliang. He began to study composition in 1990, and was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the composer Ye Xiaogang. In 2001, he obtained his master's degree and became a faculty member of the conservatory.
Lansing McLoskey is an American composer of contemporary classical music. His Zealot Canticles: An Oratorio for Tolerance was a winner of the 61st Annual Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance by the ensemble The Crossing. McLoskey serves as a Professor of Music at the Frost School of Music in Miami, Florida. Among McLoskey's numerous commissions are those from Guerilla Opera, Copland House, The Fromm Foundation, The Barlow Endowment, N.E.A., The Crossing, ensemberlino vocale, New Spectrum Foundation, Ensemble Berlin PianoPercussion, Passepartout Duo, the Boston Choral Ensemble, and Kammerkoret NOVA.
Robin de Raaff is a Dutch composer and bassist. De Raaff has written five Symphonies, eleven Concertos for solo instruments and orchestra, an Oratorio entitled Atlantis, two main stage Operas. Currently De Raaff is composing a Cantata for mixed Choir and Orchestra on a poem entitled L'Azur by Stéphane Mallarmé commissioned by the Lucerne Festival of 2025 and co-commissioned by the NTR-Zaterdagmatinee.
