Angel L. Bolques Jr. is an American politician serving as a senator in the Legislature of the Virgin Islands. He was appointed in July 2022 to fill a vacancy in the 34th Legislature of the Virgin Islands and was later elected to continue serving in the 35th Legislature of the Virgin Islands,36th Legislature of the Virgin Islands.<. Before entering the Legislature,Angel Bolques Jr. worked in public service and education. Bolques was appointed on July 25,2022,to fill the vacant Senate At-Large seat in the 34th Legislature following the removal of Senator Steven Payne Sr. [7] Following his appointment,Bolques successfully ran for re-election in the November 2022 general election and continued serving in the 35th and subsequently the 36th Legislature.
