Angelo Musone (born March 1, 1963) is an Italian former boxer, who won the Heavyweight bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He was born in Marcianise.
In the Los Angeles Olympics, after American Henry Tillman was controversially awarded their semi-final contest on a 5-0 decision, the defeated Musone was cheered by the American fans as he left the ring in tears. British TV commentator Harry Carpenter was highly critical of the decision saying "Musone won that, and he won it well" and "if that is correct judging then I don't know what I'm talking about. I've never seen a man so shabbily treated in an Olympic boxing tournament".
Musone began his professional career undefeated in 18 fights, including a victory over a faded Leon Spinks in 1987. Later that year, Musone was defeated by KO by journeyman Steve Mormino, who dropped Musone twice in the sixth round, ending the fight. This was Musone's last pro fight. Musone later became a professional boxing referee and judge.
Alan Sydney Minter was a British professional boxer who competed from 1972 to 1981. He held the undisputed middleweight title in 1980, having previously held the British middleweight title from 1975 to 1976, and the European middleweight title twice between 1977 and 1979. As an amateur, Minter won a bronze medal in the light-middleweight division at the 1972 Summer Olympics.
Giovanni "Nino" Benvenuti is an Italian former professional boxer and actor. He held world titles in two weight classes, having held the undisputed super-welterweight championship from June 1965 to June 1966 and the undisputed middleweight championship twice, from April to September 1967, and from March 1968 to November 1970. As an amateur welterweight boxer he won the Italian title in 1956–60, the European title in 1957 and 1959, and an Olympic gold medal in 1960, receiving the Val Barker trophy for boxing style. In 1961, having an amateur record of 120-0, he turned professional and won world titles in the light-middleweight division and twice in the middleweight division. Near the end of his boxing career he appeared in two Italian films, Sundance and the Kid (1969) and then in Mark Shoots First (1975).
Meldrick Taylor is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2002. He held world championships in two weight classes, including the IBF junior welterweight title from 1988 to 1990, and the WBA welterweight title from 1991 to 1992. As an amateur, Taylor won a gold medal in the featherweight division at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Henry Durand Tillman is an American former professional boxer. He won a Gold at the 1984 Olympics as a Heavyweight. He scored notable wins over Cruiserweight Champions Uriah Grant and Tyrone Booze.

Tyrell Biggs is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 1998, and challenged once for the undisputed heavyweight title in 1987. As an amateur he won a gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics, having previously won bronze at the 1983 Pan American Games and gold at the 1982 World Championships, all in the super heavyweight division.
DaVarryl Jerome Williamson is an American former professional boxer. A highly-touted amateur, he challenged once for the IBF world heavyweight title in 2005.
Francesco Damiani is an Italian former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 1993. He was the first WBO heavyweight champion, having held the title from 1989 to 1991, as well as the European heavyweight title from 1987 to 1989. As an amateur he won silver medals in the super-heavyweight division at the 1982 World Championships and 1984 Summer Olympics.
Henry Adetokunboh Akinwande is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2008. He held the WBO heavyweight title from 1996 to 1997, as well as the Commonwealth heavyweight title in 1993, and the European heavyweight title from 1993 to 1994.
Michael John Nunn is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2002. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the IBF middleweight title from 1988 to 1991, and the WBA super middleweight title from 1992 to 1994. During both those reigns, he also held the lineal championship. In 2004, Nunn was sentenced to 24 years in prison for drug trafficking; he was released in February 2019.

George Kelly Scott, earlier George Cramne, is a retired Swedish professional boxer of Liberian descent. He won the Swedish championship five years in a row, took a silver medal in the Olympic games in Seoul 1988. He became a pro boxer and trained for the legendary Angelo Dundee and won the world champion belt for WBU. He never lost his belt in the ring, but would later have it taken away from him following a disagreement with his manager.
Zhilei Zhang is a Chinese professional boxer. He previously held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) interim heavyweight title between 2023 and March 2024. As an amateur, he won bronze medals at the 2007 and 2009 World Championships, and a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics, all in the super-heavyweight division. As of January 2024, Zhang is ranked as the world's third-best active heavyweight by The Ring magazine.
William Theodore deWit, Q.C. is a Justice of the Court of King's Bench of Alberta sitting in Calgary since 2017. Previously, he was a criminal defence lawyer and a professional boxer. He represented Canada at the 1984 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the heavyweight division. DeWit and teammate Shawn O'Sullivan were heavily touted going into the Games, as both had won the world championship.
José Carlos Ramírez is an American professional boxer. He is a former unified champion at light welterweight, having held the World Boxing Council (WBC) title from 2018 to 2021 and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title from 2019 to 2021. As an amateur he represented the United States at the 2012 Olympics. As of June 2020, he is ranked as the world's second best active light welterweight by The Ring and BoxRec, and third by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.
Terrell Maurice Gausha is an American professional boxer who challenged for the WBA and IBO light middleweight titles in 2017. As an amateur he represented the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the middleweight division.
Arturo Leon is a Mexican-American former boxer from Arizona, United States. He was a junior lightweight who once challenged Alexis Arguello for the Nicaraguan's World Boxing Council's world Junior Lightweight title, losing by 15 round unanimous decision.
Joey Olivo is an American former professional boxer of Mexican descent who competed from 1976 to 1989. He held the WBA world light flyweight title in 1985 and challenged for the WBC world light flyweight title in 1981. At regional level he held the WBC-NABF light flyweight title in 1983; the IBF-USBA flyweight title in 1984; and the WBC-NABF flyweight title in 1988.
Delante Johnson is an American professional boxer. As an amateur he won a gold medal at the 2016 Youth World Championships and bronze at the 2019 Pan American Games.
