Angharad Evans (born 2003) is a swimmer from England, [1] who is a British Champion. [2]

Career

Evans studied at University of Georgia in the United States [3] and then the University of Stirling in Scotland. [4]

In April 2024, she won the 100 metres breaststroke title at the 2024 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships, setting a time of 1.06.54 [5] and was subsequently named in the British team for the 2024 Summer Olympics. [6]

In May 2024, she set a new British record of 1:05.54 on her way to winning the 100 breast at the AP Race International meeting in London.

Kristine Lora Quance, also known by her married name Kristine Julian, is an American former competition swimmer who specialized in breaststroke and medley events. Quance competed at the international level in the 1990s, and swam at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, winning a gold medal in the 4×100-meter medley relay. She is a 10-time United States national champion; and twice won the Kiphuth Award as the highest individual point scorer at an individual national championship. In the 1992 Summer National Championships, she won all four of the events in which she swam.

Yuliya Andreyevna Yefimova is a Russian competitive swimmer. She is the Russian record holder in the 200 metre individual medley, 50 metre breaststroke, 100 metre breaststroke, and 200 metre breaststroke. After making her Olympic debut in 2008, she went on to win the bronze medal in the 200 metre breaststroke in 2012, and silver medals in the 100 metre and 200 metre breaststroke in 2016. She is a six-time World Champion, winning the 50 metre breaststroke in 2009 and 2013, the 100 metre breaststroke in 2015, and the 200 metre breaststroke in 2013, 2017, and 2019. In 2019, she became the first woman to win the 200 metre breaststroke at a FINA World Aquatics Championships three times. She is a former world record holder in the long course 50 metre breaststroke. Rebecca Soni is an American former competition swimmer and breaststroke specialist who is a six-time Olympic medalist. As a member of the U.S. national team, she held the world record in the 4×100-meter medley relay from 2012 to 2017.

Kathleen Mary Dawson is a Scottish backstroke swimmer. She won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay in a world record time. She is also the European champion at the 2020 Budapest Championships and holder of the European record in 100 m backstroke (58.08).

At the 2020 Summer Olympics, King won a silver medal in the 4x100 meter medley relay for her efforts in the prelims, the silver medal in the 200-meter breaststroke, and the bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke. She is the current world record holder in the long course 100-meter breaststroke.

As of 2021, Reaney still held 4 Notre Dame swimming event records.

Kara Aline Hanlon is a Scottish international swimmer. She has represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.
