Animal Scream is a rock band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2019. Animal Scream's debut album Nightwalk was released on July 24, 2020, on American Hermitage records. [1]
Chad Monticue and Josh Sickels both played in the band 1,2,3 along with Nic Snyder and Mike Yamamoto. Their first album New Heaven released on Frenchkiss Records garnered critical review, including a 6.3 from Pitchfork [2] and being named The Guardian's new band of the week. [3]
In 2014 they released their second album Big Weather, a double album that took a significant toll on the band in creating it. At points Snyder said he was going to quit the band. [4] Soon after the record's release, the band went on hiatus.
With Snyder and Yamamoto moving on to other things, Monticue and Sickels still wanted to make music together, moving forward with a new band, Animal Scream. [5] Originally their debut album was supposed to be released in April 2020, to go along with an extensive tour schedule, but the COVID-19 pandemic put touring plans to a stop as well as delayed the album's release. Recorded by Monticue in his home studio, produced by Animal Scream and mixed by Jake Hanner, their debut LP Nightwalk was released July 24 on American Hermitage Records. The album hit the 7th spot on the NACC chart where it remained in the top 200 for the next three months. [6]
Soundgarden was an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1984 by singer and drummer Chris Cornell, lead guitarist Kim Thayil, and bassist Hiro Yamamoto. Cornell switched to rhythm guitar in 1985, replaced on drums initially by Scott Sundquist, and later by Matt Cameron in 1986. Yamamoto left in 1989 and was replaced initially by Jason Everman and shortly thereafter by Ben Shepherd. The band dissolved in 1997 and reformed in 2010. Following Cornell's death in 2017 and a year of uncertainty regarding the band's future, Thayil declared in October 2018 that Soundgarden had disbanded once again, though they did reunite in January 2019 for a one-off concert in tribute to Cornell.
Mark William Lanegan was an American singer, songwriter, and poet. First becoming prominent as the lead singer for the early grunge band Screaming Trees, he was also known as a member of Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins. He released 12 solo studio albums, as well as three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell and two with Duke Garwood. He was known for his baritone voice, which was described as being "as scratchy as a three-day beard yet as supple and pliable as moccasin leather" and has been compared to Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and Nick Cave.
The Juliana Theory is an American rock duo from Greensburg and Latrobe, Pennsylvania, United States. They signed to Tooth & Nail Records, and later to Epic Records for the release of the album Love. They released four studio albums before disbanding in 2006. The band has since reunited three times; once in 2010 for eight shows, again in 2017 for a tour celebrating their 20th anniversary along with 2019, Brett Detar and Joshua Fiedler announced a tour, together with the Spill Canvas, performing Juliana Theory songs acoustically. In 2020 The Juliana Theory announced signing with Equal Vision Records and released their debut EVR single "Can't Go Home" on November 20, 2020.
Matthew Stephen "M." Ward is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Glendale, California. Ward's solo work is a mixture of folk and blues-inspired Americana analog recordings. He has released 10 studio albums since 1999, primarily through the independent label Merge Records. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of indie pop duo She & Him and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk, and also participates in recording, producing, and playing with multiple other artists.

Josh Adam Klinghoffer is an American musician best known for being the guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from 2009 to 2019, with whom he recorded two studio albums, I'm with You (2011) and The Getaway (2016), and the b-sides compilation I'm Beside You (2013). Klinghoffer took the place of his friend and frequent collaborator John Frusciante in 2009, after a period as a touring member. At age 32, Klinghoffer was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012, making him the youngest at the time. He has also been a touring member of rock bands Pearl Jam and Jane's Addiction.

The Takeover UK was an American rock group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Formed in mid-2004, the band released its first EP, It's All Happening in July 2008, and its first full-length album, Running With the Wasters, in March 2009, both for Rykodisc. The first single, "Ah La La," was featured on popular MTV reality show The Hills as well as in promotional commercials for ABC's Castle. The band has toured with The Juliana Theory, The Shys, and Army Navy. In Winter 2009 - 2010, the band toured their Running with the Wasters album.
Screaming Females was an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey comprising Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and Mike Abbate on bass. Kamtin Mohager is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and graphic designer born in San Jose, California. Raised in Hawaii, and later Colorado, Mohager began pursuing punk rock music in his teenage years. Later inspired by shoegaze and alternative rock bands from the 1990s, he formed the indie electronic project The Chain Gang of 1974. He has released five studio albums, White Guts (2010), Wayward Fire (2011), Daydream Forever (2014), Felt (2017), and Honey Moon Drips (2020). His 2014 single "Sleepwalking" gained popularity for featuring on the video game Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and its accompanying soundtrack.
Animal Collective is an American experimental pop band formed in Baltimore, Maryland. Its members consist of Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Geologist, and Deakin. The band's work is characterized by an eclectic exploration of styles, including psychedelia, freak folk, noise, and electronica, with the use of elements such as loops, drones, sampling, vocal harmonies, and sound collage. AllMusic's Fred Thomas suggests that the group "defined the face of independent experimental rock during the 2000s and 2010s."
"Hurts Like Heaven" is a song by British rock band Coldplay from their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto. It was written by all members of the band along with producer Brian Eno, being released as the final single from the record on 8 October 2012. The track promoted the comics which tied into the original story from Mylo Xyloto. On 16 April 2013, the band announced it as a 7" limited single for Record Store Day, with a live version of "Us Against the World" serving as its B-side.

Following the release of several EPs and splits featuring original lead singer Thomas Diaz, they released their debut LP Whenever, If Ever in 2013 to generally positive reviews. Undergoing a series of roster changes, they proceeded to release a 2014 collaboration with spoken word artist Christopher Zizzamia titled Between Bodies, as well as several full-length records, including Harmlessness in 2015, Always Foreign in 2017, and 2021's Illusory Walls.
