Aniruddha Chakravarty

Lt Gen Aniruddha Chakravarty is an Indian military commander and the director general of India's National Cadet Corps, a position he has held since December 2013. He is a graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. [1]

Chakravarty has held various staff and regimental appointments during his career. He commanded 3 Rajput company at the Siachen Glacier from 1996 to 1999, commanded a brigade on the Line of Control, and was the GOC of 15 Infantry Division in 2011–2012.

He was awarded Vishisht Seva Medal for his distinguished service in preparation of the AV Singh Committee Report, while serving as a colonel in the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) in 2000–2003. He is married to Falguni Chakravarty and they have two daughters.

Lt. Gen. Vinod Vashisht is a former general of the Indian Army. He was appointed Director General of the National Cadet Corps (India) (NCC) on December 23 2016, succeeding Lt Gen Aniruddha Chakravarty, who retired on August 31 of that year. He remained Director General of the NCC until 2017.

He served in office from 1 December 2017 till 30 September 2018. He assumed the post after Lieutenant General P M Hariz retired and was succeeded by Lt General Satinder Kumar Saini.

He was the 46th Commander, XV Corps of the Indian Army and was in office from 1 November 2016 to 14 December 2017. He assumed the post from Lt General Satish Dua and was succeeded by Lt General Anil Kumar Bhatt.

Satish Dua

Lieutenant General Satish Dua, PVSM, UYSM, SM, VSM is a retired General Officer of Indian Army. He served as Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) of the Indian Armed Forces. He assumed the office on 31 October 2016 from Air Marshal P P Reddy and was succeeded by Lieutenant General P S Rajeshwar on 1 November 2018.

Satinder Kumar Saini

Lieutenant General Satinder Kumar Saini, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, VSM, ADC was the 41st Vice Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army and assumed the office on 25 January 2020. He previously served as General Officer Commanding in Chief (GOC-in-C) Southern Command.
