Anis Ahmed (born 11 June 1947) is a retired Pakistan Armed Forces brigadier and Sitara-i-Imtiaz recipient who has served in the Pakistan military for 36 years. Born in Lahore Pakistan he is an authority on geopolitics and military history.

Anis has held notable offices including Deputy Commandant Pakistan Military Academy, Deputy Director General Pakistan Rangers, Senior Instructor Command and Staff College, Managing Director National Fertilizer Marketing Limited, [1] Chairman Punjab Privatisation Board [2] and Chief Advisor to Government of Punjab. [3] [4] Anis chairs various non-profit organisations and is the Chairman Board of Management at Shalimar Hospital. [5]

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi Warraich is a Pakistani politician who was the Chief Minister of Punjab from late 2002 to late 2007 and again from late 2022 to early 2023. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 till January 2023, when he, as chief minister, dissolved the assembly. In 2023, he left the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with his son, Moonis Elahi, and 10 other former PML(Q) MPAs over political rifts with the party president and cousin, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He was appointed as, and is currently serving as the president of the PTI. He also served as the president of the Punjab Division of the PML(Q).

Dilawar Cheema is a village in Tehsil Wazirabad, Gujranwala District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in a central area between Alipur Chatha, Wazirabad and Gujranwala. The only way to get to Dilawar Cheema is by road. Dilawar Cheema is directly connected with Dilawar Cheema Khurd, Dera Chungran, Bara Pind, Kub Pora Cheema and Dharowal Kang, while connected with Ahmad Nagar Chattha via Kub Pora Cheema and Pathanke Cheema. The family of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, is a prominent Pakistani family active in politics and sports. It was formerly the First Family of Pakistan. Khan was born on 5 October 1952 in Lahore to father Ikramullah Khan Niazi, a civil engineer, and mother Shaukat Khanum. He grew up as the only son in the family, with four sisters. Paternally, Khan belongs to the Niazi Pashtun tribe which has long been settled in Mianwali in northwestern Punjab. Khan's mother hailed from the Burki Pashtun tribe settled in Jalandhar, Punjab, which emigrated a few centuries ago from South Waziristan in the tribal areas of northwest Pakistan. Khan's maternal family has produced several great cricketers, the most prominent of whom are Jahangir Khan, Javed Burki and Majid Khan.
