Anna-Katharina Samsel (born 12 April 1985, in Hanover [1] ) is a German actress.

Samsel grew up in Wolfsburg where she completed her Abitur. [2] In 1999 she became the German artistic roller skating champion and won the World Championships in 1999, 2000 and 2002. [3]

Samsel appeared in the music video of Coldplay's 2008 single "Lost!". [4] Since December 2009, she has played the role of Katja Bergmann in the RTL soap opera Alles was zählt . [2] [3]

Samsel now lives in Cologne,. [2] Her first appearance was in a short film Epicalypse Now by Daryush Shokof also in Cologne, Germany.

Verbotene Liebe is a German television soap opera created by Reg Watson for Das Erste. beFour was a German Eurodance group founded in Cologne. They have had a string of hits stretching from 2007 until 2009. The band's repertoire contains a number of revamped adaptations of well-known songs. The band has released 4 albums in total. The band parted ways in December 2010.

The Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour was the fifth concert tour by American recording artist Pink, launched in support of her fifth studio album Funhouse (2008). The Funhouse Summer Carnival and the Funhouse Tour (2009) sold a combined total 3 million tickets, and brought the tour to a final gross of $150 million. With the tour, Pink became the only female artist to sell out stadium shows in 2010 and the first solo female act to open the Wireless Festival in London, UK. Tor Nielson of Live Nation Sweden gave a statement calling Pink "Sweden's biggest stadium act" of 2010. The tour grossed more than $46.4 million from 30 shows.

The eighth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar was broadcast on German channel RTL from 8 January to 7 May 2011. The winner got a recording contract with Universal Music Group. Nina Eichinger and Volker Neumüller were removed from the panel and were replaced by Fernanda Brandão and Patrick Nuo. Marco Schreyl returned as the host. DSDS has extended participation privileges to Austria and Switzerland. Pietro Lombardi won the competition.

Kokowääh 2 is a 2013 German film directed by Til Schweiger. It is a sequel to the 2011 film Kokowääh. It was released in German-speaking countries on 7 February 2013. The film stars Til Schweiger, his daughter Emma Schweiger, Jasmin Gerat and Samuel Finzi reprising their roles from the first film.
