Anna Garcia, known professionally as Anna Fantastic, a name given to her by Prince, [1] is an English singer.
Born in London to parents of Sicilian, British and American ancestry, Fantastic spent her younger years in London and the Netherlands. Her mother was a singer in various bands in the local London music scene and thus exposed Fantastic to a variety of musical genres, from Billie Holiday to Madonna.
Fantastic attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
At the age of 15, Fantastic met the musician Prince at his concert in London. At 17, she lived with Prince in Minneapolis, Minnesota. [1] On Fantastic's 18th birthday, Prince gave her a pink cashmere coat, thus leading to the song "Pink Cashmere" that would be released in 1993. In 1988, under the name Sheree, she recorded a song called "Ronnie – Talk to Russia!", written by Dieter Bohlen, a German songwriter and former member of Modern Talking.
Fantastic inspired the songs "Vicki Waiting" (an 18th-birthday gift for Fantastic, originally titled "Anna Waiting") and "Lemon Crush" (her favorite drink) on Prince's Batman soundtrack from 1989. She wrote the song "Fantasia Erotica", which resurfaced on Carmen Electra's debut album in 1992. Liner notes from the Batman soundtrack, released in 1989, credit her as "Anna Fantastic". [2] Fantastic is featured on one of Prince's unreleased Madhouse albums, on the 18-minute song "The Dopamine Rush Suite". [3]
Fantastic recorded several songs in the early to mid-1990s, including "G'Ding – G'Ding (Do You Wanna Wanna?)" in 1990 as Anna G, a remake of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" in 1994 under her real name, and singles in 1995 as part of the group La Switch ("Kiss Me Baby" and "Never Let You Go!") and as part of the group Positive Connextion ("My Baby Just Cares For Me").
Fantastic is the writer and executive producer of a documentary on Michael Jackson titled Michael Jackson: The Last Photo Shoots . [4] [5] She has recorded an album of jazz songs, and composed music for television shows including The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Dr. Oz Show .[ citation needed ]

"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" is a song by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson recorded for his sixth studio album Thriller (1982). It is the opening track of the album and was released as its fourth single on May 9, 1983, by Epic Records. It was written and co-produced by Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones. The lyrics pertain to strangers spreading rumors to start an argument for no good reason. "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" evokes the disco sound of Jackson's previous studio album, Off the Wall, released in 1979. The song is characterized by a complex rhythm arrangement and a distinctive horn arrangement.
Batman is the eleventh studio album by American recording artist Prince and the soundtrack album to the 1989 film Batman. It was released on June 20, 1989, by Warner Bros. Records. As a Warner Bros. stablemate, Prince's involvement in the soundtrack was designed to leverage the media company's contract-bound talent as well as fulfill the artist's need for a commercial revival. The result was yet another multi-platinum successful cross media enterprise by Warner Bros., in the vein of Purple Rain.

Mizuki Watanabe, better known simply as Miz, is a Japanese pop/rock singer. Though most of her music is released in Japan, she does her work primarily from Gotland in Sweden, mainly doing promotional videos, photo shoots and recording there. She originally debuted in 1999 under Universal Music Japan using her real name, Watanabe Mizuki, releasing two singles. In 2003, she began working with the Swedish producer Tord Backstrom and debuted under Victor Entertainment with the pseudonym Miz in 2004. That same year, she released an English album in Sweden, with the lead single "Waiting" reaching #8 on the Hitlistan Swedish singles chart. In 2007, Watanabe returned to Universal Music Japan, changed her stage name to Mizrock, and released her first mini-album Good bye, yesterday and three singles. However, in 2009 she announced on her official blog that she had changed her stage name back to Miz. Her biggest hits in Japan are "New Day" and "In The Sky", the theme song for the Square Enix role-playing video game Grandia III.
Trey Lorenz is an American R&B singer-songwriter and record producer. He was born in Florence, South Carolina and is a graduate of Wilson High School. Lorenz is best known for his duet with recording artist Mariah Carey on "I'll Be There", a cover of the 1970 number-one Jackson 5 recording of the same name. The record topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles chart a second time in 1992 and earned Lorenz and Carey both a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. They would later perform the song again at the funeral of Michael Jackson on July 7, 2009. He is also known for his 1992 hit single "Someone to Hold".
Tuesday Lynn Knight is an American actress, singer and designer. She is best known for her role as Kristen Parker in the 1988 film A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, replacing Patricia Arquette in the sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987). Her other film roles include Mistress (1992), The Fan (1996), Daddy and Them (2001), and How to Be Single (2016). Mark Daniel Ronson is a British-born musician and DJ based in the United States. He has won eight Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year for Amy Winehouse's album Back to Black (2006), as well as two for Record of the Year with her 2006 single "Rehab" and his own 2014 single "Uptown Funk". He has also won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe and a Grammy Award for co-writing "Shallow" for the film A Star Is Born (2018). Ronson served as lead and executive producer for the soundtrack to the 2023 fantasy comedy film Barbie, on which he also composed and co-wrote several of its songs with his production partner Andrew Wyatt. It has been said that his vault contains multiple unreleased albums and over 50 fully produced music videos that have never been released, along with albums and other media. Batman: Original Motion Picture Score is the score album for the 1989 film Batman by Danny Elfman. According to the Batman DVD Special Edition, Elfman said that producer Jon Peters was not sure about him as a composer until Tim Burton made him play the main titles. Elfman admitted he was stunned when Peters announced that the score would be released on its own album. The score was widely acclaimed by the press and in many contemporary reviews is cited as the highlight of the film.
Just Hits is a compilation album by American singer Bette Midler, released on the Atlantic Records label in Australia and New Zealand in 1987. The album was the third greatest hits compilation with Midler to be released in Australia, following 1978's The Best of Bette and a second release with the same title on the K-tel label in 1981.
Judith Glory Hill is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. She has provided backing vocals for such artists as Michael Jackson, Prince, and Josh Groban. In 2009, Hill was chosen as Jackson's duet partner for the song "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" during his This Is It rehearsals. After Jackson's death in 2009, she, along with the rest of the This Is It cast members, performed at Jackson's memorial service and attracted global attention when she sang the lead on the song "Heal the World". Hill's rise to fame is recounted in 20 Feet from Stardom, a documentary film that tells the untold story of the backup singers behind some of the "greatest musical legends of the 21st century". She is also a featured artist on the film's soundtrack. She won the Grammy Award for Best Music Film for her performance in this film.
The Earth Tour: 21 Nights in London was a concert residency at the O2 arena in London by American recording artist Prince that commenced on 1 August 2007 and concluded on 21 September 2007. Tickets for all 21 nights were sold-out.
Prince released several hundred songs both under his own name and under pseudonyms and/or pen names, as well as writing songs which have been recorded by other artists. Estimates of the actual number of songs written by Prince range anywhere from 500 to well over 1,000. He has released 117 singles, 41 promotional singles, 24 internet singles, and eight internet downloads.
Michael Jackson: The Last Photo Shoots is a documentary film directed by Craig J. Williams about Michael Jackson's last magazine cover-shoots in 2007. The film is a unique story told through the eyes of Jackson's closest friends, photographers, and stylists that had helped Jackson prepare for his 2007 United States comeback after several years of living in seclusion overseas. In September of that year, photographer Bruce Weber and Vogue fashion editor as well as Jackson's personal stylist Rushka Bergman captured the King of Pop for the 25th anniversary reissue of his hit album Thriller, entitled Thriller 25. Later that month, Jackson did another shoot and an interview for Ebony magazine's December 2007 issue. This would mark Jackson's first United States interview and magazine story in over a decade.
