Annabelle Davis (born 28 March 1997) [2] is a British actress. She portrayed Sasha Bellman in the CBBC series The Dumping Ground from 2015 to 2022, and from 2023, she began to play Lacey Lloyd in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . She is the daughter of Warwick Davis and Samantha Davis.
Davis is the only daughter of Samantha Davis (née Burroughs) and actor Warwick Davis. She has a younger brother, born in 2003. She also had an older brother Lloyd, who died in infancy at nine days old. Davis inherited spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita from her father. [3]
Davis attended Sawtry Village Academy, where she took A-Levels in Media, Textiles, Art and IT. [4] [5] In June 2018, she was announced as a patron for the Young People Counselling Service. She is the namesake of their first community hub. [6]
In 2011, Davis appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 as a Naughty Goblin. She then joined the CBBC series The Dumping Ground as Sasha Bellman in 2015. [7] She reprised the role of Sasha in spin-off series The Dumping Ground: I'm... , a webisode series. [8] She has also appeared in two Star Wars films alongside her father.[ citation needed ] In 2022, Davis joined the cast of the Disney+ series Willow , a sequel to the 1988 film of the same name, as Mims, the daughter of the titular character played by Davis' father. [9] After the series was cancelled in March 2023, [10] Davis said the show "was the most magical adventure." [11] The series was later removed from Disney+ on 26 May 2023. [12] After her final appearance on The Dumping Ground had aired in 2022, it was announced that Davis had been cast as Lacey Lloyd in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . She made her debut appearance in 2023. [13]

Willow is a 1988 American sword and sorcery epic dark fantasy adventure film directed by Ron Howard and produced by Nigel Wooll. Warwick Davis is an English actor. He made his acting debut as Wicket W. Warrick in the Star Wars film Return of the Jedi (1983). He reprised the role in two television spin-offs: Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (1984) and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1985). Lacey Lloyd is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Annabelle Davis. Her casting was announced in December 2022 and she made her first appearance on 18 January 2023. Davis was approached for the role by the soap's producer Lucy Allan, who she had previously worked with on The Dumping Ground. The character was not originally written for a little person and the producers worked with Little People UK, a charity founded by Davis' parents, in order to ensure that Lacey was portrayed authentically. Davis worked on developing Lacey's characterisation and wanted to ensure that the character was portrayed correctly as she felt that it was important to represent minorities on TV in order to raise awareness. The actress ensured that the character was professional due to the lack of small people in certain careers that appear onscreen, and she wanted viewers to see Lacey as more than just a little person whilst also highlighting the lives of disabled people. Lacey was introduced as an aspiring lawyer and the childhood best friend of Rayne Royce.
