History

Anne began in 2010 with the release of a demo. Following this, they released a mixtape titled Mixtape One. [2] In 2011, Anne released their first full-length album, Dream Punx, via A389 Recordings. In 2012, Anne released a split with the band Whirr. [3] In 2012, Anne released an EP on Run for Cover Records titled Power Exchange. [4] In 2013, Anne released an EP titled Jerusalem. [5] In 2014, Anne released their second full-length album titled Pulling Chain via Run for Cover Records. [6] [7] [8]

Negative Approach initially broke up in 1984 with singer John Brannon moving on to the Laughing Hyenas, and later Easy Action, but the band has reformed as of 2006 and continues to tour sporadically.

In 2013, Kevin Devine rejoined his previous band, Miracle of 86, for a series of reunion shows.

Chokehold is a Canadian vegan straight edge hardcore punk band from Hamilton, Ontario. They were active from 1990 to 1996, and came together again for a reunion tour in 2015, and five dates in Japan in September 2016. They released their third album in 2019.

Whirr is a shoegaze band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The group formed in 2010, originally as Whirl, but had to legally change its name after a woman performing acoustic covers of Black Sabbath songs trademarked the name and threatened a lawsuit. Whirr's shoegaze sound is often compared to My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Founding guitarist Nick Bassett also played in the band Deafheaven surrounding and including the release of their 2011 album Roads to Judah.

Jack Shirley is a Grammy Award nominated American record producer, audio engineer and musician. He is known for his analog driven aesthetic, and work with eclectic artists, including Deafheaven, whose 2013 sophomore album Sunbather received widespread critical acclaim. Shirley also worked with various other music acts, including Jeff Rosenstock, Loma Prieta, Bosse-de-Nage, Punch, Whirr, Shinobu, La Bella, State Faults and Frameworks. Besides his production work, he plays guitar for the bands Comadre and Everybody Row.
