Annemie Anne Francine Coenen (born 14 July 1978) is a Belgian singer and songwriter who was in the duo AnnaGrace [1] (formerly known as Ian Van Dahl).
Coenen sang in school musical comedies and choral in Antwerp. She joined a dance band at the age of 17. She hoped to become a fashion designer, and aimed to enter a fashion school at Antwerp.[ citation needed ] To this end, she worked a variety of odd jobs around Antwerp. One of her friends invited her to Ibiza where she found the dance scene.
When she did return to Belgium, Coenen recorded a demo which she said was mainly "just for fun." However, the demo came to the attention of Stefan Wuyts, representing the A&R label, who was looking for a mime artist for a song called "Castles in the Sky" which was meant to be part of a new Belgian project called Ian Van Dahl. Since her joining the group in 2001, it has sold four million CDs and singles worldwide. She was the main vocalist on the albums Ace and Lost and Found .[ citation needed ]
In June 2008, Coenen and Luts teamed together to create their own trance music project called AnnaGrace.
Since March 2014, Coenen has had her own fashion line named Gracenatic.

Lasgo is a Belgian electronic music group. The group formed in 1999 was composed of Evi Goffin, David Vervoort, Peter Luts, and Dave McCullen. Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to the band, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the band. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search for a new vocalist, that came to pick Van Dael as the singer. The group name came from McCullen suggesting something related to Scotland, and creating Lasgo out of Glasgow.
2 Unlimited are a Belgian-Dutch dance music act, founded by Belgian producers/songwriters Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde in 1991 in Antwerp, Belgium. From 1991 to 1996, Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and Dutch vocalist Anita Doth fronted the act. During these five years, 2 Unlimited enjoyed worldwide mainstream success. They scored a total of sixteen international chart hits, including "Get Ready for This", "Twilight Zone", "No Limit", and "Tribal Dance". The act has sold eighteen million records worldwide. Although they enjoyed less mainstream recognition in the United States than in Europe, several of their tracks became popular themes in American sporting series, mainly in the NBA and NHL.
Ian Van Dahl was a Belgian vocal trance and eurodance music project created by Christophe Chantzis and Erik Vanspauwen, with first singer Martine Theeuwen, who also co-wrote and sang the song "Castles in the Sky". Cindy Mertens was the second singer and can be seen in the music video for "Castles in the Sky"; her vocal contribution was limited to live performances only. In 2001 she was replaced by Annemie Coenen, who would become front singer of the project.

The label is distributed by The Orchard and is one of two labels in the Sony Music line-up that specializes in dance and electronic music, the other being Ultra Music, who has collaborated with Robbins on several occasions. The album includes the singles, "Inspiration", "Believe" and "I Can't Let You Go", which charted in the United Kingdom at No. 87, No. 27 and No. 20 respectively, as well as the single "Where Are You Now?". The album was not released in the UK due to the relatively low charting of its singles.
