Chiyanjano Muheziwa popularly known as Annie Matumbi, and sometimes Nyakwawa, is a Malawian veteran musician, [1] [2] [3] tv presenter, [4] actor [5] and politician. [6] [7] [8] [9] [3] In 2017, Matumbi claimed he was the father of Malawi urban music. [10] In 2018, Matumbi stood in a winning a parliamentary seat in 2019's general election [11] under Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Candidate for Lilongwe City South West constituency. Kelvin Khuzumba popularly known as Nesnes is a Malawian rnb artist and song writer. He became popular after releasing songs such as Chidodo and It’s not fair in early 2010s. He featured Conel Chyoon and Lap T in the album which has songs like Chibwelele, Kadya Ubwelele, Sionse, Ndinjoye and Mundilanditse.

The Great Angels Choir is a CCAP gospel musical group from Lilongwe, Malawi. In 2016, the choir shared a stage with American singer, Don Moen. In 2023, it was rumoured that the choir was splitting to which it publicly denied. In September 2023, the choir collaborated with South Africa's Rebecca Malope in performance at the Blessings Gospel Concert at BICC in Lilongwe and other artists. In 2017, the choir hired Sipho Makhabane to spice their website.

Kwathu Drama Group is a Malawian oldest drama group mainly composed of Eric Mabedi and John Nyanga, who died in 2021, that started in 1980. Mabedi died in 2022 after suffering from severe kidney damage. In 2020, the ensemble blamed the hospitality industry of Malawi for not supporting, improving and upgrading the status of stage performances in the country. Alleluya Band is an oldest Malawian music group founded by Paul Banda his brother Lucius Banda from Balaka. The band started and rose to fame in 1970s. The band's current leader is Coss Chiwalo. In 2021, the group released their 13th album in May. In 2018 and 2019, the band visited Rome and met with Pope Francis for Panama for World Youth Day. In 2020, after the band embarked from Italy, they were quarantined due to Covid-19. The band has also shared stage with different artists such as Skeffa Chimoto and Dan Lufani.

National Association for People living with HIV/AIDS in Malawi(NAPHAM) is a Malawian non-governmental member-based organization founded in 1993 aiming at providing a forum for people living with HIV/AIDS in Malawi to share their experiences and find solutions to solve them. The organization was found with an intention to minimised discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS as at the time people were stigmatized and treated as outcasts when diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

Grace Chinga Moffat or simply Grace Chinga, was a Malawian gospel singer, songwriter and vocalist. She released her debut studio album titled Uleke (Stop) in 2004 that had a hit song titled Thandizo Langa which made her gain national recognition. Chiku Malinga Chitsundi Banda, best known as Malinga Mafia, is a Malawian dancehall artist and songwriter. In 2018, he won a Nyasa Music Award as Best Dancehall artist of the year. His collaboration with Hyphen titled Tsidya lina won the Best collaboration of the year 2018. In 2017, he won the Best Music Video in Nyasa Music Awards. In 2016, he was awarded a UMP Award for Album of the Year as well as Best Reggae/Dancehall Act in years 2017 and 2018.

Nyasa Music Awards are Malawian award show that was established in early 2017 to celebrate entertainers and other minorities in music, fashion and philanthropy. The annual presentation event that takes place in major cities of the country features performances by artists and they are one of the major Malawi's music industry awards. The event recognizes Malawian music from all genres, including traditional, soul, and gospel. The awards also promote culture, with the 2017 event host of an African Print party that encourages people to showcase their traditional outfits. The awards include media sister awards and its categories are split into male and female.

Faith Ambudye Che Muphuwa Mussa is a Malawian Afro-soul singer, guitarist and songwriter. He won his first award in August 2004 in Chirunga Awards as the best male singer. In 2018, he won two UMP Awards in Best Live Act as well as Best Afro-soul Artist/Group. In 2016, was nominated for the same category and award. In 2013, he won a National award for his best single titled "Desperate". In 2017, his song titled "Mdidi" won the Best Single in Nyasa Music Awards. In 2018, he won another award again in Best Live Act.

Ku Mingoli Bash Festival is a Malawian music festival that features 10 Malawian artists and four international headliners. The 2024 bash will take place at Civo Stadium, Lilongwe, and will include South African artists such as Casper Nyovest and Young Stunna. Tay Grin is also a headliner, and the bash will also feature Temwa, a Malawian hip hop artist.

Shukuran Mwachumu better known by his stage name Janta, is a Malawian Afro Pop artist. In 2015, his song titled Wangongole won a Nyasa Music Award in Best Song of the Year category. In 2019, his music video won Best video of the year in UMP Awards.

Noel Chikoleka better known by his stage name Phyzix, is a Malawian musician, rapper, songwriter and activist. He gained national recognition in 2006 when he released the song titled "Cholapitsa" (boogeyman) which sold over 40, 000 copies national wide with a month and has released over albums. In 2020, he won a UMP Award in Best Hip Hop artist of the year.

Evans Zangazanga popularly known as Piksy is a Malawian musician. In 2015, he was nominated for the Best Male Southern Africa category in Kora Awards. He was the Brand Ambassador for Airtel for over 2 years commencing on 1 August 2012 and through 30 November 2015.
