Annina Elsa Maria von Falkenstein [1] (born 17 May 1996) is a Swiss politician who currently serves on the Grand Council of Basel-Stadt for the Liberal-Democratic Party since 2021. [2] Most notably, she was portrayed by SRF while attending EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne in 2017. [3] She is a daughter of Christoph Eymann and Patricia von Falkenstein.

In the 1967 Basel Picasso paintings purchase referendum, the people of Basel, Switzerland, voted for the purchase of two paintings by Pablo Picasso, Les deux frères (1906) and Arlequin assis (1923). The referendum took place on 17 December 1967, and the "yes" campaign was supported by the youth of Basel and the local football club FC Basel, among others. Christoph Eymann is a Swiss attorney and former politician who served two terms on the Swiss National Council for the Liberal-Democratic Party from 1991 to 2001 and from 2015 to 2021. His most recent term was succeeded by his former domestic partner and mother of his children, Patricia von Falkenstein. He is also a former member of the Executive Council of Basel-Stadt. Since 2019, Eymann serves as president of Schweizerische Konferenz für Sozialhilfe (SKOS). He is the father of Annina von Falkenstein, who currently serves on the Grand Council of Basel-Stadt.

Fina Girard is a Swiss climate activist and politician who has served on the Grand Council of Basel-Stadt since 2023. A member of the Green Party and the Young Greens, she represents the Grossbasel-West constituency. Prior to entering politics, she was a member of the Basel climate strike and was co-president of the local branch of the Young Greens.
