Anova Music is an Israeli independent record label founded in 2006, by Shuki Goldwasser and Anat Damon in Tel Aviv, Israel. They have signed bands such as Vaadat Charigim, Nikmat HaTraktor, Rockfour and more artists on their roster. In 2013, Anova Music started a sub label by the name of BLDG5 Records that specializes in electronic music. [1] Walla! referred to the label as "one of the most prominent alternative labels in Israel". [2]

Shtar is an Israeli Jewish rap rock band based in Beit Shemesh. Formed in 2006 by American rapper Ori Murray and English guitarist/songwriter Brad Rubinstein, the band released their debut album, Infinity, in Israel in 2010 and in the United States through Shemspeed Records in 2012. They have received considerable media attention, much of it focused on the contrast between their traditional Jewish dress and modern-sounding music. The World Is Well Lost is the 2013 debut album by Israeli shoegazing band Vaadat Charigim. It was released on 12 November 2013 through Anova Music and Burger Records labels. Recorded in the band's Tel Aviv-apartment, the album was mixed and produced by Kyle “Slick” Johnson, who is known for his work for Modest Mouse and Wavves.
