Ansuya Blom (born 1956) is a Dutch artist. In 2020, she received the Heineken Prize for Art. [1] Her work is included in the collections of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam [2] and Tate. [3]

The Van Abbemuseum is a museum of modern and contemporary art in central Eindhoven, Netherlands, on the east bank of the Dommel River. Established in 1936, the museum is named after its founder, the cigar businessman Henri van Abbe, who loved modern art and wanted his collection to be enjoyed in Eindhoven. As of 2010, the collection of the museum housed more than 2700 works of art, of which about 1000 were on paper, 700 were paintings, and 1000 were sculptures, installations and video works.

The Heineken Prizes for Arts and Sciences consist of 11 awards biannually bestowed by Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. The prizes are named in honor of Henry Pierre Heineken, son of founder Gerard Adriaan Heineken, Alfred Heineken, former chairman of Heineken Holdings, and Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, current chair of the Heineken Prizes Foundations, which fund all Heineken Prizes for Arts and Sciences. Thirteen winners of the Dr H. P. Heineken Prize for Biochemistry and Biophysics or the Dr A. H. Heineken Prize for Medicine subsequently were awarded a Nobel Prize.

Mark Manders is a Dutch artist, currently living and working in Ronse, Belgium. His work consists mainly of installations, drawings and sculptures. He is probably best known for his large bronze figures that look like rough-hewn, wet or peeling clay. Typical of his work is also the arrangement of random objects, such as tables, chairs, light bulbs, blankets and dead animals.

Ana Lupaș is a Romanian installation artist, textile artist, and photographer. She studied at the Institute of Fine and Decorative Art in Cluj-Napoca. She uses materials such as wool, cotton, linen, not only to challenge artistic norms, but also out of necessity, as she faced harsh living conditions under the communist dictatorship of the time. She managed a hidden local artistic community and worked somewhat secretly, creating artworks as a form of silent resistance against the totalitarian regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu, during which many of her family members - part of the pre-war political and intellectual elite - were imprisoned, tortured and killed.

Yvonne Oerlemans was a Dutch sculptor and video artist who has been active in the field of video art, installations and objects since 1982. Oerlemans created a diverse oeuvre that has been exhibited worldwide. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hague (1974–79) and at the video workshop of the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (1983). In 1985 she was awarded a prize for her artistic career at the Aarhus International Video Festival & Competition. Oerlemans' early artworks deal with the human condition in a metaphorical and philosophical way. Her videos are characterized by a paradoxical sense of humor. The works are usually short, compact and mostly shot in a studio with a static camera.

Philip Vermeulen is a Dutch artist whose work Boem BOem was featured in Museum Voorlinden in 2023. Vermeulen presented his first large-scale solo exhibition Chasing The Dot at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe in 2024.
