Norbert Mao is a Ugandan political activist and lawyer. He has been president of the Democratic Party since 2010,three time presidential candidate and he served as the Local Council 5 chairman for Gulu District. He is the current minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs in the Ugandan government,an office he assumed on 21 July 2022. He was appointed to this position by Yoweri Museveni,the president of the Republic of Uganda. This appointment drew immense criticism from the Democratic Party,an opposition party he is currently serving as president. It was seen as a move by President Museveni to tame the Party and clip its wings to criticize his government.

He is the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to the Republic of South Africa in Pretoria He is a former Member of Parliament for Dokolo North County (2016-2021) and a representative of the National Resistance Movement (NRM),the ruling political party in Uganda.
Hon Makmot Edward Otto is a Ugandan-Canadian barrister,solicitor,notary public,member of the Law Society of Ontario,Canadian Bar Association,and an advocate of the Uganda Law Society and East African Law Society,and politician. He was elected to the 10th elected Parliament of Uganda for Agago County an independent candidate. He succeeded John Okot Amos,who was preceded by the former Leader of the Opposition Professor Ogenga Latigo and Chief Justice Owiny Dollo. He served as the vice chairperson of the Committee on Rules,Privileges And Discipline and a member of the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee in the 10th Parliament.

He is the elected member of parliament for Chua West County,Kitgum District,and is an Independent politician who closely associates with FDC,the main opposition party in Uganda. He is a member the Caucus of Independent MPs and the Opposition Caucus and also serves as the vice chairperson of the Committee on Local Government Accounts and as a member of the Appointments Committee and the Committee on Agriculture in the 10th Parliament of Uganda.

She serves as the Deputy President for Forum for Democratic Change in Eastern Region.
Anita Annet Among is a Ugandan accountant,lawyer and politician who is the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2022. She also concurrently serves as the elected member of parliament for the Bukedea District Women Constituency,the same position she held in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021). She was in FDC party before she joined the ruling NRM where she was voted as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Parliament. She is named in the torture complaint against the Ugandan government that was submitted with the International Criminal Court.

Aisha Sekindi is a Ugandan educator and legislator. As of February 2022,she serves as Uganda's Minister of State for Water and the woman representative for Kalungu district in Uganda's eleventh parliament. She replaced Hon. Ronald Kibuule who handed over the office in July 2021. She held the same position in Uganda's tenth parliament. Politically,she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2016 general election,achieving victory over Aisha Naluyati Waligo of the Democratic Party Uganda (DP).
Resty Nanteza is a Ugandan politician. She is also a radio presenter at NBS radio in Jinja city owned by former member of parliament Hon Igeme Nathan Nabeta. In 2021,she was a candidate to be the woman representative in parliament for the Buikwe district in the 2021 Uganda general elections,after serving as the chairperson of Nyenga Division. She managed to garner 41,561 votes,and was reported as having won in some early lists of results. However,she lost to Diana Mutasingwa (NRM) who won the election with 43,215 votes. Nanteza challenged the results in the courts.
