Antillanca is a ski resort in the Puyehue National Park, Los Lagos Region, in southern Chile. The nearest city is Osorno, 98 kilometers away.
Antillanca gets its name from the Mapudungun "antü llangka", which means "pearl of the sun". [1]
This ski resort is located in the Puyehue National Park, on the slope of the Casablanca Volcano, near the Puyehue and Aguas Calientes hot springs, all belonging to the Antillanca volcanic complex.
Antillanca has 14 marked tracks, 3 for beginners, 4 for intermediates, 6 for advanced and 1 for experts. [2] With a total of 400 hectares of skiable area, the longest is 2800 meters long. In addition to these, there are 14 other natural tracks of different levels of difficulty. [3]
There are 5 mechanical means that allow access to slopes, 1 two-seater chairlift and 4 ski lifts.
The resort has several services associated with skiing and snowboarding: equipment rental, ski and snowboard school, mechanical workshop, among others. There is also a cafeteria and a medical center to support practitioners.
The complex also has a 45-room hotel and a refuge with 85 rooms. The hotel has a heated swimming pool, restaurant, bar, cafeteria and gym. [4]

Badger Pass Ski Area is a small ski area located within Yosemite National Park. Badger Pass is one of only three lift serviced ski areas operating in a US National Park. It is situated five miles (8 km) south-southeast of the Chinquapin intersection of Wawona Road with Glacier Point Road in the southern area of Yosemite National Park. Glacier Point Road provides the access to this ski area. During high snow level and/or ski season, Glacier Point road terminates at Badger Pass Ski Resort. Under these conditions, the remainder of Glacier Point Road is used for cross-country skiing access to Glacier Point and other destinations in the high country.
Osorno is a city and commune in southern Chile and capital of Osorno Province in the Los Lagos Region. It had a population of 145,475, as of the 2002 census. It is located 945 kilometres (587 mi) south of the national capital of Santiago, 105 kilometres (65 mi) north of the regional capital of Puerto Montt and 260 kilometres (160 mi) west of the Argentine city of San Carlos de Bariloche, connected via International Route 215 through the Cardenal Antonio Samoré Pass. The Antillanca Group is a volcanic group of scoria cones, maars and small stratovolcanoes, in Chile. Casablanca stratovolcano is the tallest volcano of the group, which shelters the Antillanca ski resort on its west flank. Aguas Calientes and Puyehue Hot springs also form part of this volcanic group. The complex encompasses 380 km2 and to the west is bordered by the lakes Puyehue and Rupanco.

The complex erupted lavas with composition between basalt and andesite and has no recorded historical eruptions. Several scoria cones formed after the last ice age.
The Puyehue Hot Springs is a series of hot springs located 76 kilometers along Route 215-CH east of Osorno, a city 20 kilometers from Puerto Montt in the Los Lagos Region of southern Chile.
Route 215-CH is a branch line road going eastward from Osorno at Chile Highway 5 to Cardenal Antonio Samoré Pass at the border to Argentina. Apart from connecting southern Chile with Argentina, the road is also the main access to Antillanca ski resort, Puyehue National Park and the hot springs of Puyehue and Aguas Calientes.
Rogla Ski Resort is a Slovenian ski resort opened in 1975 at Rogla, Zreče, located at the top of the Zreče Pohorje range and regularly the most or second most visited Slovenian ski resort, with over 200,000 skiers per season and capacity of 13,500/h. Vogel Ski Resort is a Slovenian ski resort located above Bohinj next to Lake Bohinj. The nearest city is Bled. Ljubljana is about an hour away. The resort was opened in 1964. It has a total of 22 kilometres (14 mi) of ski slopes, 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) tracks for cross country skiing and a snowboard park. The ski resort is located on the outskirts of Triglav National Park, therefore all snowmaking activities are forbidden on the area. The ski resort is named after nearby Mount Vogel.
