Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private research university in Fort Worth, Texas. It was established in 1873 by brothers Addison and Randolph Clark as the Add-Ran Male & Female College. It is affiliated with the Christian Church.
Vladimir Oskarovich Feltsman (Russian: Владимир Оскарович Фельцман, Vladimir Oskarovič Feltsman is a Russian-American classical pianist of Lithuanian Jewish descent particularly noted for his devotion to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Andrey Petrovich Zvyagintsev is a Russian film director and screenwriter. His film The Return (2003) won him a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Following The Return, Zvyagintsev directed The Banishment and Elena (2011). His film Leviathan (2014) was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 2014 and won the Best Film award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. His most recent film Loveless won the Jury Prize at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, and was among the nominees for Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards. He also won the Achievement in Directing award for this film at the 2017 Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
Gary Allen Patterson is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the special assistant to the head coach at the University of Texas. He is the former head football coach at Texas Christian University and the winningest coach in Horned Frogs' history. Patterson has led the TCU Horned Frogs to six conference championships—one Conference USA title in 2002; four Mountain West Conference titles in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011; —and nine bowl game victories—including victories in the 2011 Rose Bowl and 2014 Peach Bowl. His 2010 squad finished the season undefeated at 13–0 after a 21–19 Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers on New Year's Day 2011, and ranked second in the final tallying of both major polls.
The TCU Horned Frogs are the athletic teams that represent Texas Christian University. The 18 varsity teams participate in NCAA Division I and in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for football, competing mostly in the Big 12 Conference. The school was a founding member of the Southwest Conference and was a member of the Western Athletic Conference, Conference USA, and the Mountain West Conference before joining the Big 12. Two TCU teams participate outside the Big 12 in sports not sponsored by that conference. The rifle team competes in the Patriot Rifle Conference, and the beach volleyball team plays in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association.

The Horned Frogs compete in Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the highest level of intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States.

The TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represents Texas Christian University, located in Fort Worth, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. Since 2016, the Horned Frogs have been led by TCU Lettermen's Hall of Fame member, head coach Jamie Dixon. TCU has competed in the Big 12 Conference since 2012, and previously competed in the Mountain West Conference (2005–2012), Conference USA (2001–2005), Western Athletic Conference (1996–2001) and Southwest Conference (1923–1996). The Horned Frogs play their home games on campus at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, formerly known as Daniel–Meyer Coliseum, which reopened in December 2015 after a $72 million renovation.
Anton Viktorovich Chermashentsev is a former Olympic rower who competed for Russia in the two Olympic Games. He won bronze medal in the coxed eight competition 1996 Summer Olympics. He was also a participant of 2000 summer Olympics. He received the award of order for services to the fatherland 4th degree.
Alexey Kudrya is a Russian operatic lyric tenor. According to Neue Stimmen, Kudrya grew up in a very musical family: his father, Vladimir Leonidovich Kudrya, is a professor for music and his mother teaches the flute. Kudrya was taught by his father at the Russian Academy of Music in Moscow and graduated in 2004 as flautist and conductor.
The TCU–Texas Tech football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the TCU Horned Frogs football team of Texas Christian University (TCU) and Texas Tech Red Raiders football team of Texas Tech University. The winner of the annual game is presented with the Saddle Trophy, which bears plaques marking the score of each meeting between the rival schools. The teams have met on the gridiron in 63 games since 1926. The game was first dubbed the "West Texas Championship", and the "Saddle Trophy" was first awarded, from 1961 through 1970. During this ten-year stretch, the schools split the series 5–5. The trophy was lost and the rivalry name disappeared until the moniker and trophy were reintroduced in 2017.
Novosibirsk Specialized Music School was founded in 1970, and in 2003 was officially designated by the State Duma a school for children with exceptional ability in the arts. It is one of only two music schools in Russia directly subordinate to the Ministry of Culture.
