Antonio Fantin (born 3 August 2001) is an Italian swimmer who competes in Paralympic S5 and SM5 (individual medley) events. [1] He won the International Sports Prize World Athlete of the Year award in 2022. [2]

Fantin began swimming at age four in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. He came to international attention when he competed at the 2017 World Para Swimming Championships, at the age of 16, winning the 400 metres freestyle S6 category. [4]
The following year Fantin was reclassified as S5, and represented Italy again at the 2018 World Para Swimming European Championships in Dublin, Ireland. Fantin won 4 gold medals, and six medals in all, to make the top 5 individual performances of the meet. [1]

Tully Alicia Jacqueline Kearney is a British Paralympic swimmer. Kearney competes in the S5 classification for swimmers with physical disabilities. She won Gold and Silver at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games setting World records in both the 50 m and 100 m freestyle. She has also won medals in three IPC Swimming World Championships winning Bronze in the 2013 IPC Swimming World Championships, setting a British record; four Golds, a Silver and a Bronze in the 2015 World Championships setting three European records and becoming GB's highest medal earner of the Championships, and three Golds at the World Para Swimming Championships in 2019, setting three British records and two Championship records. In addition, she won Gold and Bronze at the World Para Swimming European Championships in 2018. Kearney is a multiple British, European and World record holder.

He has also won a silver at the Mediterranean Games of Mersin in 2013 and two bronze medals at the European Championships in Funchal in 2016.

Mohammad Abbas Karimi is a swimmer, who came second in the S5 50 meter butterfly event at the 2017 World Para Swimming Championships, making him the first refugee athlete to win a medal at that competition. He came eighth in the 50 meter butterfly S5 event for the Refugee Paralympic Team at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
