The Finlandia Prize is a set of Finnish literary prizes awarded by the Finnish Book Foundation to "celebrate reading and highlight new Finnish first-rate literature." Considered the most prestigious in the nation, they are awarded annually in three categories: fiction, non-fiction and children's and youth literature. The prize was first awarded in 1984.
Valkeakoski is a town and municipality in Finland. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Tampere, 45 km (28 mi) north of Hämeenlinna and 150 km (93 mi) north of Helsinki in the Pirkanmaa region. The 2010 UEFA European Under-17 Championship was the ninth edition of UEFA's European Under-17 Football Championship, held in Liechtenstein from 18 to 30 May 2010. The hosts decided not to field a team, fearing it would not be competitive enough for the tournament's prestige; their place was occupied by France, the best runner-up in the qualification's elite round. Germany was the 2009 title holder, but failed to qualify. In the final, England defeated Spain by 2–1, and achieved their first ever under-17 European title.
Antti Mäkijärvi is a Finnish former professional football midfielder. Previously, he played in German Regionalliga Nord side VfB Oldenburg. Mäkijärvi was born in Espoo, Finland. He began his senior club career playing for Pallohonka, before making his league debut for Honka at age 17 in 2011.
