Chaudhary Muhammad Anwar Bhinder was a Pakistani politician from Gujranwala, Punjab [1] who served as the Speaker of the West Pakistan Legislative Assembly from 12 June 1965 to 25 March 1969. [2] [3]

He also served as a member of the Senate of Pakistan for 16 years. [3]

His son, Khurshid Anwar Bhinder, served as a Justice of the Lahore High Court. [3] Nauman Ahmad Langrial is his relative. [3]

He is son of Chaudhary Anwar Ali Cheema, former Federal Minister of Industries and Production and seven times consecutive Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1985–2013 which is a unique honour. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab since August 2018 and serves as parliamentary leader for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. He is also the Tumandar of the Baloch tribe Buzdar, since April 2019. He served as Tehsil Nazim of Taunsa Sharif from 2001 to 2008.
