Erongo is one of the 14 regions of Namibia. The capital is Swakopmund. It is named after Mount Erongo,a well-known landmark in Namibia and in this area. Erongo contains the municipalities of Walvis Bay,Swakopmund,Henties Bay and Omaruru,as well as the towns Arandis,Karibib and Usakos. All the main centres within this region are connected by paved roads.

Henties Bay is a coastal town in the Erongo Region of western Namibia. It is located 72 kilometres (45 mi) north of Swakopmund and is a holiday and retirement settlement,with angling a popular activity. It also serves as a gateway to the seal colony of Cape Cross,which lies 46 kilometres (29 mi) to the north of the town. The town had 4,720 inhabitants in 2011,an increase from 3,285 in 2001. The mayor of Henties Bay is Lewies Vermaak.
Khorixas is a town with about 6,000 inhabitants in the southern part of the Kunene Region,Namibia. It was the capital of the Damaraland bantustan before Namibia's independence. It is the administrative capital of Khorixas Constituency. Most of the inhabitants are from the Damara ethnic group. The town is located near the Petrified Forest,Khorixas - a deposit of petrified wood and well known tourist attraction of Namibia. The Twyfelfontein valley,known for its rock art,is also accessible from Khorixas.
The 2006 Kerala Legislative Assembly election,part of a series of state assembly elections in 2006,was held in three phases. The first phase was held on 22 April 2006,when 59 out of the 140 constituencies in Kerala voted. The second was held on 29 April for the 66 constituencies in central Kerala. The last phase of polling for the remaining 15 constituencies was on 3 May 2006. The counting was conducted on 11 May 2006.

The Workers Revolutionary Party is a communist party in Namibia led by Attie Beukes and Harry Boesak.
Rundu Urban is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East region of Namibia. It covers the urban area of Rundu,the region's capital and one of Namibia's largest cities. The constituency also covers parts of the Sauyemwa,Safari,Tutungeni,Katutura,Donkerhoek and Kehemu neighborhoods. It had a population of 20,953 in 2011,up from 19,173 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 35,740 registered voters.
Ondangwa Urban is an electoral constituency in the Oshana Region of Namibia. It was created in August 2013,following a recommendation of the Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia,and in preparation of the 2014 general election. It had 23,233 inhabitants in 2016 and 17,967 registered voters in 2020. The constituency office is situated in Ondangwa.
Ondangwa Rural is an electoral constituency in the Oshana Region of Namibia. It had 13,613 inhabitants in 2016 and 7,682 registered voters in 2020. The administrative centre of the constituency is the settlement Eheke.
Thabo Lucas Makunyane was a South African politician and former anti-apartheid activist. He was the first mayor of Limpopo's Polokwane Local Municipality from 2000 to 2010. He also served in the National Assembly from 1999 to 2000 and in the National Council of Provinces from 2012 to 2014.
