Ghantasala Venkateswararao, known mononymously as Ghantasala, was an Indian film composer, Playback Singer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. According to The Hindu and The Indian Express, Ghantasala was "Such a divine talent and with his songs he could move the hearts of the people." "Ghantasala's blending of classical improvisations to the art of light music combined with his virtuosity and sensitivity puts him a class apart, above all others in the field of playback singing"." "Gifted with what Indian Film Historian V. A. K. Ranga Rao called "the most majestic voice", Ghantasala helped Telugu film music develop its own distinct character which remains unparalleled". He is referred to as the "Gaana Gandharva" for his mesmerising voice and musical skills.

The music video is about the issue of colourism and urges the audience to celebrate India's diversity of skin colour. Her first book was 'Manto & I' chronicles her 6-year long journey of making the film. She wrote, directed, produced and acted in a short film called, Listen to Her, that sheds light on the increase in domestic violence and overburden of work that women have been facing during the lockdown.

Chittajallu Pullayya, also known as C. Pullayya, was an Indian film director, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is regarded as the father of Telugu theatre movement. In 1933, he made his film directorial debut with East India Film Company's first Indian film Sati Savitri which has received honorary diploma at Venice Film Festival. He then directed Sati Anasuya, the first children's film and Lava Kusa (1934).
Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra is an Indian motion picture production, and distribution established by B. V. S. N. Prasad, an Indian film producer. The company was founded in the year 2003 and is based in Hyderabad and had produced several successful Telugu films. In 2012, the production company announced a partnership with Reliance Entertainment. The first film in partnership with Reliance, Devudu Chesina Manushulu was released in August 2012. Panchanathan Arunachalam was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. As a writer, he worked in over 100 films. He was also a lyricist, composing lyrics for 200 films. He is the man who introduced Indian composer Ilaiyaraaja to the world of cinema.
B. S. Lokanath was an Indian cinematographer who worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. He is well known as the cinematographer of K. Balachander and has worked in 55 films with him. During his career, he won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Apoorva Raagangal (1975) and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Cinematographer for Ninaithale Inikkum (1979). He died of a heart attack in Chennai on 9 December 2011.
Shafi is an Indian film actor known for his works in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, and Hindi cinema. An alumnus of National School of Drama, Shafi won Filmfare Award for Best Villain – Telugu South for his debut Telugu film, Khadgam directed by Krishna Vamsi in 2002. Shafi then played the lead role along with Nandita Das in the film Kamli directed by K. N. T. Sastry, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for that year. His other awards include Cine Goers Award for best supporting actor for the film Chatrapathi directed by S. S. Rajamouli, and Bharathamuni Award for best supporting actor for the film Khaleja directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Hemalatha (1926-2019) was an Indian actress of Telugu cinema, of Andhra Pradesh, India. She acted in more than 100 films during the 1950s to 1976. The first movie she acted was Palletooru. She retired from movies in 1976, with Seethamma Santhanam being the movie she last appeared. After retiring from movies, she was involved in Brahma Kumaris movement in Hyderabad till her death.
