Daggubati Venkatesh is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Venkatesh debuted with the 1986 film Kaliyuga Pandavulu for which he won his first Nandi Award. In a career spanning over 30 years, he starred in many successful films such as Bobbili Raja, Chanti, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Preminchukundam Raa, Suryavamsam, Raja, Kalisundam Raa, Jayam Manadera, Sankranti, Lakshmi, Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, Namo Venkatesa, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Drushyam, and F2: Fun and Frustration, establishing himself as a major actor in Telugu films.
The Filmfare Best Actor Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards South for Telugu films. The awards were extended to "Best Actor" in 1972. The year indicates the year of release of the film.
