Aquacolors is a waterpark near the town of Poreč in Croatia. Opened in May 2015, [1] its construction covers 10 hectares and cost roughly 25 million euro. [2] It's considered one of the largest waterparks in southeast Europe, and includes attractions such as water slides, a wave pool, lazy river and kids corner. [3] [4]

The hectare is an SI accepted metric system unit of area equal to a square with 100-metre sides, or 10,000 m2, and is primarily used in the measurement of land. There are 100 hectares in one square kilometre. An acre is about 0.405 hectare and one hectare contains about 2.47 acres.

Hawaiian Falls

Hawaiian Falls Waterparks is a chain of waterparks operated by ProParks Management Company. Hawaiian Falls parks are all built using the public-private partnership model, where cities contribute funds and/or other incentives and the parks are built on public land. Each of the seven parks has a separate lease structure with the cities participation ranging from contributing land and infrastructure costs(Garland and The Colony)to 100% financing. The first two parks were in the City of Garland and the City of The Colony, both in Texas. The third park was located in the South Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas. In 2004 Hawaiian Falls experienced financial problems and founder and CEO David Busch sold the company to Herschend Family Entertainment. In 2006 Busch was able to buy the company back from Herschend after purchasing, then reselling The Colony and Garland Parks to CNL Lifestyle Properties. In addition to paying rent to Garland and The Colony, Hawaiian Falls must pay rent to CNL. In 2014 The City of Garland conducted an audit of Hawaiian Falls and was unable to verify Hawaiian Falls gross receipts for the 2011 season. The audit stated that Hawaiian Falls "could not provide source documentation for group ticket sales, group food and beverage sales, season pass sales and online ticket sales."

Dollywoods Splash Country Water park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Dollywood's Splash Country is a 35-acre (14 ha) water park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, adjacent to the Dollywood theme park. The park's central theme rests around entertainer Dolly Parton’s childhood swimming in the rivers of the Great Smoky Mountains. Dollywood's Splash Country operates from May through September.

WetnWild Toronto

Wet'n'Wild Toronto is a water park in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, a city in the Greater Toronto Area. Opened in 1986, the 100-acre (0.40 km2) complex hosts a variety of attractions, including numerous water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a four lane zip-line and two kid's splash areas. Since becoming Wet'n'Wild Toronto, the park has established a stronger family-focus and has eliminated a number of bars and food vendors within the park confines.

Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is a water park located in the Pocono Mountains, in Tannersville, Pennsylvania at Big Pocono State Park. Opened in 1998, it is the summer operation for Camelback Mountain Resort which operates Camelback Ski and Snowboard Area during the winter.

Kalahari Resorts

The Kalahari Resort and Convention Center is a water park resort chain with locations in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania; and soon Round Rock, Texas. At 220,000 square feet, the indoor water park at Kalahari's Pocono Mountain resort is the largest in the United States, followed by the waterpark in Sandusky, Ohio at 173,000 square feet and in third place the Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin property at 125,000 square feet.

Sandcastle Water Park (Blackpool)

Sandcastle Waterpark is an indoor waterpark in an 84-degree tropical climate located at South Beach in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It opened in 1986 on the site of the former South Shore Open Air Baths as a joint public/private partnership.

Big Splash is a waterpark in Canberra, Australia. It is located in the suburb of Macquarie and is the only waterpark in Canberra. It originally opened with a 50-metre (160 ft) Pool with a kids pool at the end of it in the late 1960s.

ProSlide Technology, Inc. is a Canadian designer and manufacturer of water rides and water park resorts. They design and manufacture both traditional slides and innovative rides such as water coasters, funnel-shaped TORNADO slides, and Bowl slides. ProSlide has received attention for being the first water slide manufacturer to build a water slide using linear induction motors and for designing the Mammoth watercoaster which was named the world's longest watercoaster by Guinness World Records in 2016. Wet n Wild Orlando former water park in Orlando

Wet 'n Wild Orlando was the flagship water park of Wet 'n Wild owned by NBC Universal, located on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. It was founded in 1977 by SeaWorld creator George Millay. It closed on December 31, 2016.

Siam Park (Tenerife) water park in Tenerife

Siam Park is a water park in Costa Adeje, a coastal suburb in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Siam Park features a Siamese theme, and claims to be the most spectacular water attraction in Europe. The park was opened by the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The principal owners are Wolfgang Kiessling and his son Christoph.. A second park is planned for the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria.

Calypso Theme Waterpark is a waterpark located in Limoges, Ontario, Canada, about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Ottawa. The park opened its doors to the public on June 7, 2010.

King Cobra (ride) water slide

King Cobra was a water slide at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, adjacent to Six Flags Great Adventure, in Jackson, New Jersey. The ride is manufactured by Turkish manufacturer, Polin. The ride did not open for the 2018 season, and will be dismantled at the end of the season paving way for a new attraction in its place.

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is an Emirati-themed waterpark located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the park is home to more than 40 rides, slides and attractions, including Bubble’s Barrel, Rush Rider, and Bandit Bomber which is the longest suspended roller coaster in the Middle East over 550 metres long.

Verrückt (water slide) Closed water ride located in Kansas City, Kansas

Verrückt was a water slide at the Schlitterbahn Kansas City water park. At 168 feet 7 inches (51.38 m), the slide became the world's tallest water slide when it opened in 2014, surpassing the Kilimanjaro at Aldeia das Águas Park Resort. Following a fatal incident involving a 10-year-old boy in 2016, the ride was closed permanently. Criminal charges led to the arrests of several individuals, including the park's owner and a co-designer of the ride.
