Hersheypark is a family theme park located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles (24 km) east of Harrisburg, and 95 miles (153 km) west of Philadelphia. The park was founded in 1906 by Milton S. Hershey as a leisure park for the employees of the Hershey Chocolate Company. It is wholly and privately owned by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company. Hersheypark has won several awards, including the Applause Award.

It is referred to as an arm of the Ganges in the Encyclopedia Britannica and was previously the major flow of the waters of the Ganga It is because of this reason, people believe the holy waters of the Ganga still flow through the Bhagirathi-Hoogly and hence it is still worshipped today. The other distributary of Ganga then flows into Bangladesh as the Padma. Today there is a man-made canal called the Farakka Feeder Canal connecting the Ganges to the Bhagirathi.
The Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, commonly known as the Salt Lake Stadium, is an all-seater multipurpose stadium located in Bidhannagar with a current capacity of about 85,000 spectators. Named after Swami Vivekananda, the stadium forms the home ground for football clubs like ATK Mohun Bagan, East Bengal and Mohammedan. It is the fourth largest sports stadium in Asia by seating capacity. Before its renovation in 2011, it was the largest football stadium in the world, having a seating capacity of 120,000. Prior to the construction and opening of Rungrado May Day Stadium in 1989, it was the largest football stadium in the world. The stadium hosted the final match of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, alongside hosting other matches of the tournament. As part of security measures for the 2017 U-17 World Cup, the stadium was only open for 66,687 viewers. It will be used again for the 2021 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

To reduce traffic jams especially in the crossings of Kestopur and Baguiati, a flyover is constructed over the stretch between Dum Dum Park and Raghunathpur, which opened in March 2015. This road is renamed after Kazi Nazrul Islam, a famous Bengali poet from India.

Eco Park is an urban park in New Town, Greater Kolkata and the biggest park so far in India. The park was conceptualised by Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee in July 2011. West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) is the overarching body coordinating the construction of the park, along with different other government bodies responsible for implementation of different works inside the park.
Nandy Bagan or Nandi Bagan is a neighbourhood of South Kolkata in the Indian city of Kolkata in West Bengal. It is a residential area surrounded with Kasba, Haltu, Garfa, Jadavpur, Babu Bagan, Dhakuria, Naskarpara, Shahid Nagar, Bosepukur and Selimpur. It is traditionally an upper middle class neighbourhood, situated around the Nandi Bagan community playground. However, with the newly constructed Prince Anwar Shah Road connector with the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, property prices have increased in the area.
