Central Studios was an Indian film studio in the neighbourhood of Singanallur, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, started by B.Rangaswamy Naidu and other prominent industrialists like Swamikannu Vincent of Coimbatore in 1935 to make Tamil and other South Indian language movies. The studio was a major hub of Tamil movie production and notable for its association with many early day Tamil Movie Superstars, directors and script writers etc. and many making their career debuts here. The studio is best remembered for movies like Sivakavi, Velaikari and Haridas.
Saridey Varalakshmi was an Indian actress and singer who worked in Telugu and Tamil-language films. She was popular for her roles and songs in Telugu films like Sri Venkateswara Mahatyam (1960) and Mahamantri Timmarasu (1962) and Tamil films like Veerapandiya Kattabomman (1959) and in Poova Thalaiya (1969).
Mangamma Sabatham is a 1943 Indian Tamil-language film, starring Vasundhara Devi, Ranjan, N. S. Krishnan and T. A. Mathuram. The film was produced by S. S. Vasan and directed by T. G. Raghavachari, credited as Acharya. The film was remade in Hindi and Telugu as Mangala and again in Telugu as Mangamma Sapatham (1965).
Kandhan Karunai is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film, written and directed by A. P. Nagarajan. It features an ensemble cast including Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, K. B. Sundarambal, Savitri, Jayalalithaa, K. R. Vijaya and Sivakumar. This was the debut film for Sridevi, who had starred as Lord Murugan at the age of 3.
Vaaname Ellai is a 1992 Indian Tamil language drama film written and directed by K. Balachander, starring Anand Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Madhoo, Vishali Kannadasan, Rajesh and Babloo Prithiveeraj. The story involves five characters from different backgrounds, who get vexed with their lives, jointly decide to end their lives together, but begin a short journey of 100 days to live together happily before dying.
Payithiyakaran is a 1947 Tamil-language film produced by and starring N. S. Krishnan. It was based on the play of the same name staged by Krishnan's drama troupe. It was the first film for Krishnan after his acquittal in the Lakshmikanthan murder case. M. G. Ramachandran played a supporting role in the film.

M. G. Sarada and G. Saraswathi. It is based on the 1892 play Manonmaneeyam by Sundaram Pillai. The film ran more than 25 weeks.

Sri Krishna Leela is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film, written and directed by A. P. Nagarajan. The film was produced by R. M. Subramaniam, with music from S. V. Venkatraman. Sivakumar starred in the title role with Jayalalitha, Srividya, Nagesh, R. S. Manohar taking supporting roles. This also marked Jayalalithaa's last film during the 70s era. The film failed at box-office which led Sivakumar to take a decision of not portraying godly roles ever again.

Ramaswamy, U. R. Jeevarathnam, K. Sarangapani, K. R. Chellam and S. V. Sahasranamam. The film was released in August 1944 and became a success.
