J. Arthur "Archie" Urciuoli is a business executive, attorney, author, and a veteran racing driver, whose sports car racing career spans five decades.
Urciuoli, a native of Syracuse, NY, graduated from St. Lawrence University and Georgetown Law, and completed the Harvard Business School AMP program. He is a former U.S. Marine Corps Captain. During his 35 years on Wall Street, he was a leading financier of Japanese companies in the international capital markets. He was Chairman of Merrill Lynch's banks in London, Geneva and Panama. He was later appointed Director of Marketing for all products and services sold via Merrill branch offices. He retired in 1999 from the position of Chairman of Merrill Lynch International. [1]
In his "retirement", Urciuoli is now Chairman of ArcherGroup Investments, Ltd, a private investment and consulting firm. He is a former director of Biodel Inc., and of the Kroll Bond Rating Agency, and also has served on the boards of several corporations and charities, and is the author of numerous business publications. Under the pseudonym “Grumpy”, he is the author of the popular “Muttmulligans” children’s books. [3]
He was a member of the Governing Council of the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen, New York. He was also a board member of the exclusive Road Racing Drivers Club (RRDC). [4]
His racing career began in the late 1950s, when he first competed in Jaguar XK-140 MC & E-types in New England SCCA regional events and continued until the late '60s. [5]
He returned to sports car racing in 1988, competing in the Barber Formula Ford, and VSCCA, SVRA and HSR vintage classes. From 1990-1996 he campaigned a Jaguar D-Type, Ford GT Mk IV and Ralt Formula 2 at tracks across the United States, with a number of podium finishes, winning the Skip Barber Racing Cup in 1994. He continued to compete in SVRA and HSR vintage GTP and FIA classes with Chevron B-36, Porsche 956, Ford GT40 and Lola T70 Spyder from 1999 to 2015, with many podium finishes. [6]

Sports car racing is one of the main types of circuit auto racing, alongside open-wheel racing, touring car racing and stock car racing. The FIA World Endurance Championship is an example of a sports car racing series.
The 24 Hours of Daytona, also known as the Rolex 24 At Daytona for sponsorship reasons, is a 24-hour sports car endurance race held annually at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It is run on the Sports Car Course layout, a 3.56-mile (5.73 km) combined road course that uses most of the tri-oval plus an infield road course. Held on the last weekend of January or first weekend of February as part of Speedweeks, it is the first major automobile race of the year in North America. The race is sanctioned by IMSA and is the first race of the season for the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) is a North American sports car racing sanctioning body based in Daytona Beach, Florida under the jurisdiction of the ACCUS arm of the FIA. It was started by John Bishop, a former executive director of SCCA, and his wife Peggy in 1969 with help from Bill France Sr. of NASCAR. Beginning in 2014, IMSA is the sanctioning body of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the premier series resulting from the merger of Grand-Am Road Racing and the American Le Mans Series. IMSA is owned by NASCAR, as a division of the company.

Michael John Borkowski is an American race car driver. Borkowski has raced in a variety of cars and series, is experienced in both road and oval racing, but is best known for his victory over Tommy Kendall in the 1997 Trans-Am Series race at Pikes Peak International Raceway, ending Kendall's historic run of 11 consecutive race wins. Borkowski also went on to win the final race of the 1997 Trans-Am Series at the Reno Grand Prix.
Richard Westbrook is a British professional racing driver noted for his success in racing Porsche and International sports cars. As a junior, he attended St Joseph's College, Ipswich. He has won both the Porsche Supercup international championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup in his native Britain (2004). At the end of the 2007 season, Richard signed a factory contract deal with the German marque Porsche, and the British ace proceeded to take on the world's best on the other side of the Atlantic. The next year (2009), Westbrook won the highly coveted FIA GT2 Championship, taking four victories in the process, establishing himself firmly on the World motor sport stage and in the upper echelons of elite sports car drivers.

The 2012 Rolex 24 at Daytona was a long-distance motor race for sports cars conforming to the regulations of the Grand-Am Road Racing series. The race was held over a duration of 24 hours, starting at 3:30pm on Saturday, January 28, finishing at 3:30pm the following day. The race was held on the sports car version of Daytona International Speedway, which includes only a portion of the NASCAR Superspeedway course and a loop of circuit which winds through the infield of the speedway.
Mike Rockenfeller, nicknamed "Rocky", is a German professional racing driver and was an Audi factory driver competing in the DTM and the FIA World Endurance Championship. He won his first DTM title in 2013, driving for Audi Sport Team Phoenix. He also won the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans.

He has also won the SCCA Runoffs and is a 4 time Ferrari Challenge Champion.
