Gilbert is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, located southeast of Phoenix within the city's metropolitan area. Incorporated on July 6, 1920, Gilbert was once known as the "Hay Shipping Capital of the World". With a population of 267,918, it is the fifth-largest municipality in Arizona, and the fourth-largest in the Phoenix metro area. It covers an area of nearly 69 square miles (179 km2).

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School is a Catholic coeducational, private high school in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. Founded in 1954 by the priests and brothers of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, the school operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden, was named after Bishop Bartholomew J. Eustace, first bishop of the diocese. The school is a coeducational institution serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1977 and is accredited through July 2023.

Worth, and Irving, Texas. In fall 2023, Great Hearts will open a new academy in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Great Hearts will open a new academy in Jacksonville, Florida in fall 2024.

The Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) comprises two distinct Native American tribes—the Pima and the Maricopa —many of whom were originally part of the Halchidhoma (Xalchidom) tribe. The community was permanently created by an Executive Order of US President Rutherford Birchard Hayes on June 14th, 1879. The community area includes 53,600 acres (217 km2), of which 19,000 remain a natural preserve. As of 2022, the total population is 7,386. The community is a federally recognized tribe located in Arizona.

Gilbert's colors are black and gold and the teams are collectively called the Tigers.

Compadre Academy formerly consisted of two campuses due to one of the schools being under construction to add more facilities. Westwind Preparatory Academy was a college preparatory public charter high school in Phoenix, Arizona, operated by Westwind Children's Services, a nonprofit operator of several other Phoenix-area charter schools, Westwind Community Schools. The school opened in 1998 and closed in 2015. It received accreditation in 2001 as a college preparatory high school. The school was located on a 5-acre site near 19th Avenue and Northern in Phoenix, with student housing adjacent to the campus.
