Aristide Guerriero is an Italian former shot putter and throwing specialist. He is the strength and conditioning coach for the Nagato Blue Angels Rugby Football Club.

Guerriero earned his master's degree in Sport Science at Foro Italico University of Rome. [1] He is a strength and conditioning specialist and tactical facilitator through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. [2]
Guerriero served two years as the head strength and conditioning coach for the New Zealand Sports Academy. [3]
In Wellington he collaborated with former Samoan thrower Shaka Sola, supervising the training of young New Zealand throwers. He was the strength and conditioning coach for Te Wananga o Aotearoa. [4]
In 2018 Guerriero became the head of athletic performance of Brazil national rugby union team. He has been one of the strength and conditioning coaches for the first World Rugby Americas Combine in Glendale with some of the best athletes from Brazil, Uruguay, Canada, the US, Chile, and Venezuela. The Americas Combine XV Team won the final match versus the Colorado Raptors 59–31. [5]
In 2019 Brazil Women Rugby 7s Team won the Hong Kong World Rugby Sevens Series Qualifier beating Scotland in the final 28–19. [6] Since then Brazil has been a core team on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
Guerriero prepared the Brazil women's national rugby sevens team for the second 2020 Summer Olympics. The team won the gold medal in the 2019 Sudamérica Rugby Women's Sevens Olympic Qualifying Tournament and then finished 11th in Tokyo. [7]
In January 2022, Guerriero was signed as strength and conditioning coach for the Japanese team Nagato Blue Angels Rugby Football Club.
In June 2023 the Nagato Blue Angels Rugby Football Club won the Taiyo Seimei Women's Seven Japanese Series. The team won twenty-four matches and finished the 2023 season unbeaten.

Foro Italico is a sports complex in Rome, Italy, on the slopes of Monte Mario. It was built between 1928 and 1938 as the Foro Mussolini under the design of Enrico Del Debbio and, later, Luigi Moretti. Inspired by the Roman forums of the imperial age, its design is lauded as a preeminent example of Italian fascist architecture instituted by Mussolini. The purpose of the prestigious project was to get the Olympic Games of 1940 to be organised by fascist Italy and held in Rome.

The World Rugby SVNS, known as the HSBC SVNS for sponsorship reasons, is a series of international rugby sevens tournaments for women's national teams run by World Rugby. The 1977 Italian Open was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament that was played by men on outdoor clay courts at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy. The men's tournament was part of the Colgate-Palmolive Grand Prix circuit while the women's tournament was part of the Colgate Series. The tournament was held from 16 May through 22 May 1977. The singles titles were won by eight-seeded Vitas Gerulaitis and fifth-seeded Janet Newberry who earned $21,000 and $6,000 first-prize money respectively. Gerulaitis competed despite being contracted to play for the Indiana Loves World Team Tennis (WTT) franchise and was fined $19,000 for failing to play Björn Borg in the weekend of the final.
Samisoni Viriviri Nasagavesi is a Fiji rugby union player. He played for the Fiji sevens team, and in 2014 won the World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year award after leading the 2013-14 World Rugby Sevens Series in tries scored.
William Ambaka Ndayara is a Kenyan rugby union player, currently playing for the Kenyan national sevens team as well as for Manawatu in New Zealand's Mitre 10 Cup. Michaela Blyde is a New Zealand professional rugby sevens player and Olympic gold medalist. She was the first female player to win back-to-back World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year titles, in 2017 and 2018. Blyde holds the record for the most tries by a New Zealand women sevens player in a single match and also the record for most tries in a single fixture when she scored five tries against England in Langford in 2017. Blyde has won gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, 2018 Sevens World Cup, 2018 Commonwealth Games and six Sevens titles. In December 2023 She was the second woman to score 200 tries in the HSBC international seven series.

The 2021–22 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the ninth edition of the global circuit for women's national rugby sevens teams, organised by World Rugby. The ninth edition was meant to be played a year earlier, but the 2021 Series was cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2022–23 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the tenth edition of the global circuit for women's national rugby sevens teams, organised by World Rugby. New Zealand won the series at the last event in Toulouse, taking out six of the seven events on the tour to claim their seventh World Series title with Australia and the United States placing second and third, respectively. The series doubled as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Sevens, so those three teams along with host country France, who finished fourth in the series, and Ireland, who finished fifth, all gained direct qualifying berths for the women's tournament held in Paris in 2024.
