The University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry is a dental school located in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. It is one of the ten dental schools in Canada. It is the largest dental school in Canada with a range of undergraduate and graduate level programs with a total enrolment in the range of 560. The faculty is located at the heart of Downtown Toronto's Discovery District,a neighbourhood with a high concentration of hospitals and research institutes,just south of the University of Toronto's St. George campus. In 2014,the Faculty of Dentistry joined the Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration (TAAAC),providing support in building capacity for oral health in Ethiopia by creating collaborative teaching opportunities.
Dafydd Rhys Williams OC OOnt CCFP FCFP FRCPC FRCP FRCGS is a Canadian physician,public speaker,CEO,author and a retired CSA astronaut. Williams was a mission specialist on two Space Shuttle missions. His first spaceflight,STS-90 in 1998,was a 16-day mission aboard Space Shuttle Columbia dedicated to neuroscience research. His second flight,STS-118 in August 2007,was flown by Space Shuttle Endeavour to the International Space Station. During that mission he performed three spacewalks,becoming the third Canadian to perform a spacewalk and setting a Canadian record for total number of spacewalks. These spacewalks combined for a total duration of 17 hours and 47 minutes.
James Jude Orbinski,is a Canadian physician,humanitarian activist,author and leading scholar in global health. Orbinski was the 2016-17 Fulbright Visiting professor at the University of California,Irvine,and as of September 1,2017,he is professor and inaugural director of the Dahdaleh Institute of Global Health Research at York University in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. He was previously the CIGI Chair in Global Health Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and Wilfrid Laurier University (2012-2017),Chair of Global Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (2010-2012) and full professor at the Faculty of Medicine,University of Toronto (2003-2012),where he was the founding Saul Rae Fellow at Massey College. Orbinski's current research interests focus on the health impacts of climate change,medical humanitarianism,intervention strategies around emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases,and global health governance.

Arlington Franklin Dungy was a Canadian dentist who practiced in Ontario,and was a known advocate for a more inclusive medical community. He specialized in paediatric dentistry,and practiced first in Toronto,before accepting the role of Chief of Dentistry at Ottawa's Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. His academic career included the positions of Dean of Alumni and Student Affairs and Associate Dean of Professional Affairs,at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. During his tenure at the University of Ottawa,he co-founded the Indigenous admissions program,as well as two scholarships,to address a lack of Indigenous representation within the Canadian medical profession. He was fondly known as "Arlie" by people close to him.
Naheed Dosani is a palliative care physician based in Ontario,Canada,who founded and leads the Palliative Education and Care for the Homeless (PEACH) program. For his efforts in providing mobile healthcare to individuals with vulnerable housing or are homeless,Dosani has received a Meritorious Service Cross from the Governor General of Canada (2017),and a Canadian Medical Association Award for Young Leaders (2020).

Catharine Isobel Whiteside,CM,FRCPC,FCAHS is a Canadian physician and medical researcher. She is Director,Strategic Partnerships of Diabetes Action Canada and Chair of the board of the Banting Research Foundation. Whiteside is the former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
