New generation films is a Malayalam film movement developed in the early 2010s, characterized by fresh and unusual themes and new narrative techniques. Films of the new wave differ from conventional themes of the past two decades and introduced several new trends and techniques to the Malayalam film industry. While the new generation formats and styles are deeply influenced by global trends, their thematics are firmly rooted in Malayalee life and mindscapes.
Dileesh Philip, also known as Dileesh Pothan is an Indian film director, actor and producer, who works in Malayalam cinema. He made his directorial debut with the 2016 comedy drama film Maheshinte Prathikaaram, starring Fahadh Faasil. The film received the Best Feature Film in Malayalam Award at the 64th National Film Awards. Pothan also won the Best Director Award at the 64th Filmfare Awards South.
Love 24x7 is a 2015 Indian Malayalam romantic comedy film written and directed by debutante Sreebala K Menon starring Dileep and Nikhila Vimal in lead roles while Sreenivasan, Suhasini, Sashi Kumar, and Lena play the supporting roles. Mukesh R Mehta and Dileep co-produced the film for E4 Entertainment in association with Graand Production. The music was composed by Bijibal while the lyrics were written by Rafeeq Ahmed. The film was released on Ramadan day, 18 July 2015.

Mujeeb works primarily in Malayalam films. His background score for the short film Pawssible won him a Kerala State Television Award for Best Music Director. He is currently based in Kochi, Kerala.

Journey of Love 18+ is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language coming-of-age comedy drama film directed by Arun D. Jose. The film stars Naslen K. Gafoor, alongside Mathew Thomas, Nikhila Vimal and Binu Pappu. Set in North Malabar, the plot follows Akhil and Athira's affair and the situations they face after their elopement and marriage.

Perilloor Premier League is an Indian Malayalam-language political comedy drama series directed by Praveen Chandran. Deepu Pradeep, the writer of this web series introduces the world of Perilloor, a setting that bears a striking resemblance to Desham, the locale featured in Pradeep's earlier comedy film Kunjiramayanam. The series features Malavika, portrayed by Nikhila Vimal, who accidentally becomes the Panchayat president of Perilloor Grama Panchayat after a series of unpredictable events. Chaman Chakko is an Indian film editor who works in Malayalam films. He worked as a spot editor in several movies and his debut as an independent editor was Kala.Chaman directed and edited a few short films on his own.
