Arun Singh is a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Karakat Assembly constituency in Rohtas district. He is a leader of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation. Singh has won the Bihar Assembly elections 2020 from Karakat constituency, securing 79,224 votes. He was able to defeat his nearest political rival and the second runner-up to the assembly elections from this constituency, Rajeshwar Raj of Bhartiya Janata Party with a margin of 16,548 votes. Singh is a political activist as well and he has also contested Bihar Assembly elections earlier in 2010, but was defeated by Rajeswar Raj, who was then a member of Janata Dal (United). Political career

Arun Singh, who is a left wing politician, is a three time Member of Legislative Assembly from the Karakat constituency. He first entered the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 2000. In 2005 Assembly elections, he was again victorious and became a legislator for the second time. In 2010 Bihar Assembly elections, he was defeated by Janata Dal (United) candidate Rajeswar Raj. However, Raj lost this seat (assembly constituency) to Sanjay Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal in 2015 Bihar Assembly elections. [6] [7] [8]

Rajeev Kumar Singh is a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Tarapur constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly in India. He is a member of Janata Dal (United). Singh got the ticket from Janata Dal (United) amidst the confusion over allocation of Tarapur constituency to Rohit Chaudhary, the younger brother of leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, Samrat Chaudhary. The Tarapur constituency was the stronghold of Shakuni Choudhury, who had influence over Kushwaha voters, who are dominant in this assembly constituency. Kumar shifted his allegiance to Janata Dal (United) (JDU) in 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections and was made a candidate of JDU from Sasaram constituency against Rajesh Kumar Gupta of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He was defeated in the polls of 2020. Sunil Kumar also called Sunil Kushwaha is a former Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Sitamarhi Assembly constituency. He was elected to Bihar Assembly from this constituency in 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, as a candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal. In this election, he defeated the second runner-up, Sunil Kumar Pintu of Bhartiya Janata Party. In the 2015 elections, Kumar secured 81,557 votes, and the margin of his victory was nine percent votes more than his opponent. In 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Kumar was pitted against Mithilesh Kumar of Bhartiya Janata Party; latter was able to defeat him with a margin of 11,475 votes. It was believed by the poll strategists that Kumar will get the votes from Other Backward Class and Muslims, while his opponent would be supported by Forward Castes. However, in the final counting of votes, Kumar was defeated.

Vijay Kumar Singh was an Indian politician who represented the Singheshwar Assembly constituency as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from 2000 to 2005. He was a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Surendra Prasad Singh also known as Surendra Singh Kushwaha is an Indian politician and former member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Amarpur Assembly constituency in Banka district of Bihar. Singh has served as the member of Bihar Legislative Assembly for three terms. He won four elections from Amarpur constituency from 1995 to 2010, as a candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He was defeated in 2010 assembly elections by Janardan Manjhi, which caused an end to his career as active politician.

Abdul Malik is an Indian politician who served as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Ara Assembly constituency in 1995 being associated with the Janata Dal. He was made minister of Information and Broadcasting department.

Deo Dutt Prasad Yadav is an Indian politician who was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Baikunthpur constituency in 1996 as a member of Janata Dal. In 2005 elected as Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate.

Vinay Yadav is an Indian politician who was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Gurua constituency in 2020 as the candidate of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He defeated Rajiv Nandan of BJP.

Gayatri Devi Yadav was an Indian politician who was elected as a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Gobindpur constituency as well as Nawada constituency in several times from 1970 to 2005 from different parties.She entered in politics after her husband death, Son and daughter-in-law Purnima Yadav also elected as members of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Gobindpur constituency.

Suryadev Singh is a former Indian politician based in Bihar, who was elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly twice from Bikramganj Assembly constituency of Rohtas district. He was first elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly as the candidate of Indian People's Front in 1990 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. Later, he defected to Rashtriya Janata Dal and in a run up to 1995 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, he was again elected to Bihar Legislative Assembly, this time, on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal. Before his retirement from politics, following his conviction in a murder case, he was a member of Janata Dal (United). The Bikramganj Assembly constituency ceased to exist after 2005, after the delimitation of constituencies.
