Hanson is an American pop rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, formed by brothers Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson, and Zac Hanson. Supporting members include Dimitrius Collins (guitar) and Andrew Perusi (bass), who have toured and performed live with the band since 2007. They are best known for the 1997 hit song "MMMBop" from their debut album released through Mercury/Polygram Records, entitled Middle of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations. The group's label Mercury Records was merged with its sister labels and the band was moved to Island Def Jam Music Group. After releasing one album on Island Def Jam, the label and the group parted ways. Hanson has sold over 16 million records worldwide and have had three Top 20 albums in the United States. They have had three Top 20 US Hot 100 singles and eight UK Top 20 singles. The band now records under its own independent record label, 3CG Records.
Lance Bangs is an American filmmaker and music video director. He has created videos for Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Neutral Milk Hotel, Green Day, Arcade Fire, The Shins, The Thermals, Belle & Sebastian, Menomena, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, R.E.M., Mike Watt, Death Cab for Cutie, The Black Keys, Kanye West, Odd Future, Pavement, and George Harrison. He directed the David Cross film Let America Laugh. Bangs has also been heavily involved in the filming and production of MTV's Jackass television series and its subsequent movies.

Strong Enough to Break is a documentary film directed by Ashley Greyson. It follows Hanson's struggle to record and release their third studio album Underneath, and the creation of their independent record label 3CG Records. The documentary was shown at many college campuses around the United States during their 2005 tour and also at the 10th Annual Hollywood Film Festival in 2006, where it was nominated for Best Documentary. The Strong Enough to Break DVD/CD was later issued via their official store.
The Albertane Tour was the debut tour by American band, Hanson. The tour supported the band's debut studio album, Middle of Nowhere (1997). The tour predominantly visited North America with additional dates in France, Germany and England. The Live from Albertane album was released the following fall to capture performances on the tour. The documentary film The Road to Albertane was also made to record the touring experience for the three Hanson brothers.

Her films focus on notions of memory, longing and identity, underlined by her diverse and comprehensive filmography.
Romuald Karmakar is a French film director, screenwriter and producer. He was born in Wiesbaden, Germany as the son of a Bengali father and a French mother. From 1977 to 1982 he lived in Athens. He has won several national and international awards, including the German National Film Award in Gold in 1996 for Der Totmacher (Deathmaker). His work has been honored with several retrospectives at festivals and cinematheques. In 2008, the MoMA celebrated his film Das Himmler-Projekt as one of the top 250 most important artistic acquisitions of the Museum since 1980. A member of Akademie der Künste, Berlin, Karmakar is internationally regarded for his honest representation of the less attractive aspects of society by focusing on those perpetrators responsible for these downfalls. Karmakar is currently a Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University (2012–13). He has been invited as one of the four artists to represent Germany at the German Pavilion at the Art Venice Biennale in 2013.

Liz Marshall is a Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. Since the 1990s, she has directed and produced independent projects and been part of film and television teams, creating broadcast, theatrical, campaign and cross-platform documentaries shot around the world. Marshall's feature length documentaries largely focus on social justice and environmental themes through strong characters. Daniel Hirsh is an American film and video editor, director, cinematographer, graphic designer, actor, writer, producer and voice over artist. He has acted in and directed several World Premiere theatrical productions, and his editing work on short- and feature-length films have won awards at several festivals. Hirsh has trained as a videographer, actor, singer, and improvisational comedian, currently continuing work in Milwaukee, New York City, Atlanta and St. Louis.
